Question about Zebra Z4Mplus Label Printer

1 Answer

Calibration I have a Zebra Z4MPlus and ever time I load my labels and turn the printer on, the printer loads all the labels on the roll. How can I get this to stop. I can't do my job if the printer doesn't stop at just one label when you first turn it on.

I think your printer is set to print on Continuos media. If you use gap labels, you will need to set the printer from the menu on NOT CONTINUOS, then save the setting. In some cases the software or driver is the one who controls this setting. So you will need to change directly in the printer driver. You will find this option on the General tab (click Properties then) and Advanced tab (click on Printing Defaults). There you will have a list with printing parameters like speed, darkness, media type. Adjust as you need to fulfill your request. But first change directly to the printer, accessing the menu from control panel. Also verify if there is no label sticked on the media gap sensor.

I have a Zebra Z4M printer. Just put new roll of labels in and they print one, sometimes two and then skip labels in between.

This is a calibration issue. The labels or ribbon are not loaded correctly. If they are, turn the printer off and then back on and the printer will run a calibrate. This should correct it. Once it is complete, you can verify by pressing the feed button and making sure it feeds one label at a time.

Manual calibration of labels not working, printer not feeding labels correctly

printer manufacturers has different standards depending from the varieties of model and brand of printers for example an epson printer model who is older version is not the same speed print with the recent model likewise with the other brand. Therefore calibration of labels is depending to the version of the printer you are using now.
