Question about Panasonic SC-AK71 Shelf System
I took this stereo apart to fixed a band slippage issue on the cassette deck right after buying it. When I put it together it kept saying the cd door was open. It wasn't a switch problem. Switch works normally. All wires are good. No breaks or damage to anything. I've taken it apart several times since this problem and each time I did thorough testing of every wire in every cable. No use. I never got a chance to use or enjoy the CD player in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Note that when I had it apart the first time before it broke I didn't short anything and the power was disconnected.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

if you get a tv repair man he can fix and order the part that is the problem it is a twelve pin plug that needs specilist tools to remove. The part is an amplifier chip, common problem with the sa-ak600.
