SOURCE: Tyre Pressure

As always, correct pressure depends on the tyre fitted but if it is running with the standard tyres that it had fitted from new then:
Single rider: Front is 1.75 bar (25 PSI) Rear 2.0 (29 PSI)
Fully loaded (Panniers and or pillion passenger) Front 2.0 bar (29 PSI) Rear 2.25 bar (32 PSI)

These settings from the book for a 2006 model, though I imagine that they apply to all with very little if any variation

SOURCE: Flat tyres and no manual - new scooter user

You can use the tire pump or an electric one. You can find the user manual for your scooter on www.shoprider.com click on the user manuals tab and find your scooter to download (pdf file) I think you have the Sprinter 3 Deluxe model.

SOURCE: run flat tyre warning light is on i have checked tyre pressure

This will only come on when a tyre has dropped in pressure (not spare). It work on the principle that a tyre with less air has a smaller rolling circumference and therefore a different wheel speed. This is then monitored against other signals from other wheels and determined that a loss in pressure has occured.

If all tyre pressures seem ok, there could be a chance of a small unoticeable leak and would require a bath test. This is when the tyre is dipped in water and bubbles would appear where the puncture is.

Ultimately the system may just need to be reset, or has incorrectly been reset from a tyre change. For this you just press and hold the TPC button (located on the centre console above the gearstick - looks like a flat tyre with an exclamation) turn on the ignition to position 2 and the light will come on re then yellow,go out, come back on yellow. When it comes back on yellow it re-initializing the system. You can let go of the button and after 20 odd seconds the light will go out for the final time, completing the reset.

If the light continues to come on after the reset then you definitely have a puncture somewhere!

Hope this helps!

What's the tyre pressure for a caravan with 185r14c on it

It depends upon the type of tyre, whether you have a single or dual axle as well as the weight of the van when loaded.

The maximum tyre pressure for the type of tyre you have will be listed on the sidewall of the tyre. Given the weight of a loaded caravan I would recommend you run the tyres at 2 PSI under the maximum pressure listed on the tyre for a cold inflation. If the maximum is, say, 40 psi then run the tyre at 38 psi. Tyre pressures will increase when the tyres are warmed up from running so always check and adjust the pressures when cold and purchase a good tyre gauge to carry with you if you do not have one yet. Higher tyre pressures within max specification, will lower the tyre's rolling resistance and tyre heat build up, places less stress on the tow vehicle and will give better tyre life on the van tyres.

Tyres are maximum load rated so know the van weight and make sure you do not exceed the load limits of the tyres (printed on the side wall) when adding weight to the van, including water storage.

How to put air in tire of e300 razor

  1. rotate the rear wheel until the hole in the sprocket lines up with the tyre valve.
  2. insert the tyre valve extension through the hole and attach it to the tyre valve
  3. inflate the tyre to the correct pressure (usually 45psi)
  4. remove valve extension and put in a safe place for next time.
Inflating the rear tyre is detailed in the owners manual, which you can download from the Razor web site.

Tyre pressure

You should find it marked on the wheel and or around a tyre valve. If you have standard tyres and tubes check your not very useful Pride instruction book.

I have a flat tire on my scooter which i would like to fix but unable to get the rim apart can you help me

Yes. Be careful! Only remove the wheel's central nut, NOT the outer ring of nuts yet. Remove the tyre valve slowly and with care to empty the inner tube. Remove the wheel by tapping the rear of the wheel as necessary - be careful to remove the axle key and keep it safely to one side. Remove the remaining wheel nuts split the wheel and remove the tube from the tyre and wheel. Check the wheel inner surfaces for rough spots and clean. Insert the new tube and making sure that nothing is pinched reassemble the wheel inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure in stages gently bounce the wheel once or twice to help the tyre to seat properly. Inflate to just above the recommended pressure and release surplus air. Offer the wheel up to the axle with the wheel and axle key slots exactly opposite each other. Insert the "key" in the slot and gently hammer it home.

Voila, you have done it!

Whats the correct tyre pressure for my 2001 suzuki burgman an 400 also if by chance i had put 4 bar in the tyre by mistake but only had the scooter on the centre stand have i done any harm

Hi, a 1999-2003 suzuki burgman /an 400 using standard tyre sizes 110/90-13 front is 1'75 bar (25psi)
130/70-13 rear is. 2 bar-(29psi) and 2.8 bar (41psi when carrying a passenger) check the tyre for correct seating on the rim, dont think you have done any harm, the only danger inflating small tyres to a high pressure is you risk blowing it off the rim, as you have now corrected it you should be ok with that, paul

I want to know the tyre pressure front and rear daytona 1200

Yup nice question. For any vehicle accurate tyre pressure will give you better tyre life, low running cost, etc. Here is a chart for car tyres click here.
For bikes i havent found any chart. basically in india rear tyres having 100/90 18inch maximum tyre pressure is 32psi. front tyre having 2.75P or 80/90 18 inch uses 24 psi pressure. and do check your tyre pressure twice a month.
