Want to Bluetooth music from iPhone to 2011 gmc Yukon. Will simple USB dongle work?

Yes this is possible but the Bluetooth adapter must have compatible drivers loaded.....unlike computers you can't load a suitable driver! You will have to trial and error different makes and see if it works!

Missing driver

In general XP does not need drivers for thumb drives.
You can try use it on a different computer and format it there.
Also sometimes the drive does NOT show up because there is an
drive letter issue. You can see that in Control panel - Administrative tools - Computer management - Disc management and there it should show up..change drive letter and :-)

How do i turn bluetooth on on my laptop

Bluetooth works off the wireless. If your wireless switch is on, then the bluetooth will be activated. If you don't have a bluetooth installed you can buy a bluetooth usb adapter from Tiger Direct.

http://www.tigerdirect.com

When the site comes up just type in the search box at the top of the page: USB Bluetooth Adapter and click GO.

Wher can i buy a usb reciever for my wireless keyboard

Normally all wireless keyboards work with Bluetooth protocol.
Pls check it in your keyboard's specifications.

If it's so, then you can just buy a USB bluetooth adapter costing around 5$.
e.g. from ebay:

Can i use Bluetooth USB Adapter to connect PC to wireless router?I purchased a new PC that's connected to a wireless router for internet. I want to connect my old PC to the same wireless router. I don't...

Hi, to connect your computer to the wireless network of the router you need to have a wireless adapter. The bluetooth adapter will not work in this case as the router does not communicate with the bluetooth signals.

Purchase a wireless adapter like NETGEAR WG111

Rate it, if it helps.

Troy Windconnect printserver has stopped working

Due to tolerances in manufacturing, some Bluetooth-adapters/receivers do not stick to the Bluetooth-standards exactly. If this only applies for one adapter/receiver in a pair everything works fine nevertheless. But if both do not stick to the standard, they might not be able to work together, although both would work with a standard-conform third one.

Before your mainboard was replaced, only your printserver was not exactly standard-conform. Now with a new mainboard (and therfore a new Bluetooth-adapter on it) just by accident your Bluetooth-adapter does not confirm to the standard, too.

If all this is right in your case, the solution would be to buy a Bluetooth-usb-dongle for your notebook and use this instead of the built-in Bluetooth-adapter of your notebook. If this new Bluetooth-usb-dongle confirms to the Bluetooth-standards better than your built-in adapter, this might cure the problem. Since such a Bluetooth-usb-dongle only costs about 10 Dollars, it might be worth a try.

Greetings, Michael

Driver for bluetooth for win 98

Hi!

1 Was it working before?
2. Is the bluetooth compatible with Win98? Does it meet the bluetooth's minimum requirements?
3. Is your computer an old computer? Maybe your computer's USB ports are USB 1.0 and the 4Gb USB is USB2.0. This I believe will be incompatibile.
4. Try those USB adapters at a different computer to further isolate your problem.

Hope these info helps!
