Have a Balboa Hydra pool spa model #du-hp-the power comes on power to the fuse and all it does is click when you press the Jets or light like a tick fuse is blown on top 1

Balboa Hydra pak?

The problem you stated is not clear.

Check for proper voltage to the main terminal block. You should get 240, reading across both the line terminals, not one to L1 and the other to ground. Across both hots. If you have only a 120 volt system then make sure you have 120 at the terminal block.

Your comment "I have power at..." is very vague. How do you know you have "Proper" power?

Replace any bad fuses with like.

Good luck

TV keeps coming on and shutting off

Its voltage switching section has the trouble. The voltage from it to the main board and LOT section is lower than normal. It is actually working, but output voltage sensor section have the fault. Normally this faule may due to some loose soldering points in the power switching section. The power switching components will heat up while working, and repeated heating and cooling make the soler terminals of high watt resistors and other switching components ot get loose contacted. These loose soldering are very difficut to identify, because they will be microscopic, and cannot detected. To do is, resolder all the suspected solder terminals by applying a little more solder; without making any short circuit between adjecent solder terminals. Pull out the main board out; after unplug the set from AC mains power socket. Tirn it upside down, and locate the power switching section, resolder as stated earlier. If this does not solve the problem of your TV, power switching components should be checked and the faulty ones must be replaced. OK.

No charge /alt good/ new computer/ was told at auto parts site(auto zone) that defective crank position sensor could be problem

Hi, No the crank angle sensor is not the problem. Check that there is power to the main battery terminal on the alternator and that there is an ignition supply to the small terminal block attached to the back of the alternator. If these are ok then it maybe the light switching terminal or the battery sensed terminal which is also in the terminal block in the back of the alternator.
Last and not least get the battery checked that it is ok...

When we turn the dryer on it seems like it will run but stops and gives us a e9e code where the time should be. Model number AEQ7000ES1

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. After reading the service manual, the E9e code is a line voltage problem. It is cause by low voltage or intermittent voltage. This could be a loose connection in the dryer plug or at the terminal block. There can also be a problem with a hot terminal connection cause by a loose terminal. It can also be a problem with your local utility power. Voltge has dropped below 215VAC to cause this code to appear. My suspicions are a loose / hot connection either at the wall connection or dryer terminal block. You may have to replace the dryer cord or receptacle. Possibly even replace the terminal block if it has been damaged. You should also check to see that your main CB for the dryer is properly seated in the power panel. If it is not seated correctly it can also cause this symptom. Press the CB to OFF by physically pushing it to the OFF position and then back to ON. By doing so you did a complete reset of both CB power connections internally. Press hard on the face of the CB with your thumb to make sure it is seated in the power panel. Pressing cancel should clear this fault after repairs have been completed.

The repair manual can be found here: Fault code is listed on page 16 of the link to the left. The terminal block connections are on pages 37 and 38. Just note there is a major difference between a 3 prong and 4 prong power cord connection. The terminal block ground is re-configured for a 4 pronged plug. If you have to replace the terminal block make a hand written diagram FIRST! Number the wires with marked masking tape if you have too. I am pretty certain that when you find the source of the low voltage problem your dryer will be fine. Currently it is reacting to low or intermittent input power.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Bought new timer for Prodigy but thought i set the wires from the old timer in proper sequence but doesnt work so maybe wrong wires on wrong terminals

Look at the wires. They have markings on them that match the markings on the timer. Did you check the Non-resetable limit? If it is open the dryer will not run.89819b0.jpg

What does message 'PF' signify after dryer stops in mid-cycle? Started a small load to dry, and after about 5 minutes, dryer stopped and message PF appeared in digital readout in the estimated time window

This error code indicates "power failure" was detected. This could be caused by a bad/loose connection at either the logic board, the relay board, or at one of the three main power connection terminals on the back of the dryer. The logic board is located inside the control panel. The relay board is located in the base of the dryer. You can unplug and reseat electrical connections at these locations and check the main power cord hook-up at the terminal block. Also check the thermal fuse and test it for continuity. A lack of continuity means a faulty fuse. Hope this helped and best wishes.
