Whenever I cant find the exact stuff I need, try a local motorcycle shop. The fuel lines and such are very similar, often times you will end up with a higher quality fuel line for a few pennies more. Hope it helps!

Check for spark and air filter in good shape. Make sure bulb side gasket is OK! No leaks! Good luck!

I have a Craftsman Leaf Blower (made by McCullough) and the fuel tank is leaking - need a new tank. Model #316-794990, Part #MC 9228-334506. Thank you!

Before you spring for a new tank, check that the leak is not coming from around the fuel lines. If the fuel lines are not soft and plyable then they can not seal with the tank and may be the cause of the leak. They are replaceable and if that is the case you can get fixed up for a few dollars in parts.

The smaller line that has the fuel filer on it in the tank goes to the stem on the lower part. The larger line that just terminates shortly inside tank goes to the stem on the top of the carb with the bulb.

I have an old Craftsman leaf blower and it won't

most likley a fuel problem, start by replacing the fuel lines, fuel filter and diaphragm and gasket set in the carb. Non use is the worst thing for any 2 chcle small engine. The modern gasoline that contains ethanol, spoils in about 3 weeks and damages these parts.

Craftsman leaf blower will start but has no blowing power

Clean the carburetor and replace the fuel lines - The lines on mine were totally rotted - The larger hose crumbled in my hand - The fuel filter had long since fallen off....

Craftsman leaf blower

Hi

Check the fuel lines, fuel filter and clean the fuel tank.Disassembly the carb and clean it carefully.Diafragm type carb has a fuelpump, pay attention to it ,has to be tighten not folded. When the engine gets warm ,the fuelpump cannot keep the right proportion of fuel and the air/fuel mixture is changing. It has to be changed.
