First check for spark by grounding the side of the plug to the machine and looking for a spark to jump accross the gap.I have a deviced that goes between the spark plug in the engine and the spark plug lead that has a light inside it that is much easier to see. If no spark clean or replace the spark plug and look again.If still no spark you will need to replace the points and condensor which is normally under the fly wheel.

ah but you cleaned it and now it dont run
sure,
well we can not guess all the things you did wrong. or forgot.
if you used a pressure washer , (bad that) then you have water
were water dont belong. think so?????
or put back wires wrong or for got to connect , some connectors.
if UNSTATED engine has spark wells.
they are full of water now and spark just hates to be underwater.

crankshaft or camshaft position sensor an/or wiring problem, is it petrol or diesel? if its petrol check wiring at front of engine near crank pulley before changing sensor

Car sitting for a year, turn over but won't start

The mower was putting out white smoke and then it was choking out. Now it won't turn over/ start.


There may have been too much petrol going into the engine, possibly caused by having the choke on. Ensure the choke is not engaged, and then try to start the mower again

I have a honda gv100 lawn mower and there is no petrol going to the engine


I have a mountfield omega petrol lawnmower with a gv100 honda engine. I turned it upside down to replace the blade and now it won,t start. Any help would be appreciated
