My oven keeps giving the f10 code even though I have replaced the temp sensor and the oven relay panel. What's the next step? It's an electrolux #ew30es6cgw2. Tia

F10 - Runaway temperature. If these error codes shown while the oven is in day time mode, the EOC (electronic oven control) would need to be replaced. Otherwise check the oven temperature sensor (RTD sensor) as described earlier and replace if necessary.
Most of the EOCs incorporated power relays among all other components while some of ovens use a separate power relay board to simplify design and lower cost of production. You can determine it by visual EOC inspection and/or by the wiring diagram for your oven (if it is available). If there are some relays on it, replace the EOC. If there are no relays on the EOC, check the parts list (Search by the Model number) for the relay or power board. If there is a such part, replace it. I'll be glad to help you if any problems with the diagnostic. Just leave a comment on the bottom of the page. In such situation I'll need the complete model number of the oven.

Broiler comes on on top oven every time you turn bake on and won't go off. Recently replaced temp sensor for similar sporadic problem and worked for a while but now happens every time

Stove will not turn off CHECK

Temperature Control Thermostat

If the oven won't turn off the oven thermostat is often the cause of the problem. The electrical contacts inside the oven thermostat can weld themselves together and then the oven won't turn off. If this happens, turn off power to the entire appliance at the household circuit breaker or fuse. The oven thermostat usually cannot be tested and must be replaced if defective.

Oven Control Board

The oven control board has a set of relays that turn on and off power to the bake and broil circuits according to the customer settings and sensor input. If the oven won't turn off it could be that one of the relays on the oven control board is shorted closed, providing voltage to the heating circuit. It can be dangerous if the oven won't turn off. Don't leave the oven unattended without turning off power to the oven.

Relay board:
Some ovens are equipped with a relay board. This circuit board has several relays which control the switching of electrical current to the oven heat source. If the oven won't turn off it may be that one or more of the relays on the relay board have failed. If this happens replace the relay board. The relays on the board are not sold separately. ALSO CHECK THE BAKE AND BROIL ELEMENT.

My Kenmore electric wall oven will not increase the heat to the desired setting. The electronic display holds at 100 degrees. Could the problem be the thermocouple or the electronic range control. The range control is hard to find, which is part # 318010701, made by Fridgidaire.

I had an F1 Code on my Jenn Air WW2780B Double Wall Oven, and turned both ovens on to heat up, which they did, and the F1 code never came back after that... so far. Could it be fixed?

Hi, This code is an indication of a fault that exist within the actual relay board. It is malfunctioning at this time, and should be replaced asap, if possible. This relay board is located inside the unit, mounted on the cooling fan shroud. Once replaced, the F1 code will be cleared automatically.

Relay board part number: Y04100261

Click here to view an exploded diagram of the cooling fan shroud, with relay board attached. The relay board is labeled number 9, and the shroud is labeled number 1
