Generic problem for all Home Theater Speakers and Subwoofers

Hi
I have been chasing all over the internet today trying to find out how to connect this up best to my tv and kit in the ftont room.
I bought the (Alba spkrkit559 Home cinema speaker kit) new but there is no manual or paperwork of any kind in the box.
In my front room I have a Virgin Media box and a freeview box also there is a Funai Dvd-Vhs recorder model HDR-B2735 and a Philips SLM5500 Multimedia adaptor and a Samsung LE32R72B TV.
I would like a manual for the Alba kit, but is there anyway of connecting it all to the Alba Speaker kit.

I have the same Surround sound system and a virgin media box. Mine has been disconneted for some time and I am just trying to figure out how to hook it up again. To be honest the manual that comes with it (or maybe just mine) is useless. The diagrams don't actually show the correct DVD player or connections. I suppose though it's better than having no instructions at all. If you post your E-mail address I can scan it for you. I am not sure if you can connect everything you have but I managed to connect the Vigin Media box and DVD to the kit and it worked fine (it might be possible to put a scart switch somewhere).

Technically it would be no problem for me to upload a copy of the Alba home Cinema manual but I am worried about infringing copyright and seeing as you were not the original OP it worries me more. Perhaps a question for the Fixya experts?

Please disregard last comment. I can't see that posting a manual would be a problem but as I am fairly new to Fixya I'm not sure if I should attach it or what. Help please.
