Go to Radio Shack, and ask for "Tuner Wash" it's dust buildup on the moving controls. Pull off the knobs, use the small spray tube (usually red) and spray a small amount directly on the control. Let it set for a couple min, then work the control up & down a few times, then turn the unit back on. You may have to do this a couple times to get rid of it all. If you have a fancy faceplate on the unit, if you can take it off, do so, the cleaner can leave marks on plastic or varnish and cut thru lettering. Just be careful. Hope this helps

Turned volume up all three amps shout down at one time

That sounds like it could be a power supply issue to the main amp board. Possibly a voltage control regulator function issue?

How to hook up 18"

Hello!
SO I am going to give you more of a signal layout from the turntables (or whatever you use to DJ) to the speakers.
Turn tables-> Mixer-> Eq-> Amp-> Sub and other speakers.
The part that I am not understanding is why do you need the QSC amp if you have a powered sub? The powered part of that means that there is a built in amp, which eliminates the need for the QSC amp unless you are sending that sound to main (non sub) speakers.
Hope that helps!

CLIP: red, to the left of each Gain control.

Normal indication: illuminates whenever the amplifier is driven beyond full power. The LED's brightness indicates the amount of distortion. Distortion that causes only brief flashing may not be audible.

During muting, the indicator fully illuminates. This occurs during normal "On-Off" muting.

Abnormal indication:

•Bright red illumination while the amp is being used indicates either thermal muting or a shorted output.

•If the amplifier overheats, the fan will run at full speed, and operation should resume within one minute. Allow the fan to run, and make sure the amplifier ventilation is adequate.

•A shorted or overloaded output circuit will cause excessive Clip flashing and possible overheating.

•If distortion is audible without a Clip indication, the problem is either before or after the amplifier. Check for damaged speakers or overloaded signal source. The amplifier Gain control should be in the upper half of its range to prevent input overload.
