Question about Car Audio & Video
My radio is a kenwood exelon when I turn on the Bluetooth to listen to the music from phone and it works fine but when I turn on the headlights( with HID's) that's when I get the sound goin in to the radio
Make sure the radio is properly grounded to the body of the vehicle.
If that dont fix it you will need a noise suppressor llike that.

sounds like a short in your wiring to your speakers the best thing to do to check this is run a speaker wire directly to the speaker from the stereo check it that way and see if it works. If that don't work it's the wires on the stereo connection. The speaker wires on most aftermarket stereos are mostly colored 2 of each green, purple, white & grey.

Usually when you lose only AM it is an antenna issue. Check for a loose antenna plug on the back of the radio or connection to the antenna.
