I have seen appliance repair websites where technicians assist over the internet. in their spare time. as far as a choice for a technician to go-to the problem, you must call and ask questions to see if they meet your expectations. sometimes when faced with a solution for a problem you must trust.. if you don't know who? call the place you bought it and ask whom they are having perform the best effective repairs

i discussed my frige with a tech on one of those websites, he was unreachable for telling me how to fix one but discussing the problem... the thing he told me not to do was the adjustment screw that fixed it. couldnt get him to admit it but he helped me by making me go look again and again.

Jake, the green wire is the ground, just attach it to one of the screws the secure the cover plate. As far as you ordering both the heater and the board, you have it covered. Catriver.

Rubber seal around fridge door twisted.can it be replaced

Michael,
Yes, you can replace the gasket around your fridge door. If you put your make and model in, they did not come through to our screen, so we do not know what brand or model you have. There are several websites online that you can order parts from and I would suggest checking prices on those and check with a local repair parts place if you have one near to see how they compare with the online places.

Fridge dosen't seem to click off as much when it gets to temperature like it used to do, what can I do?

Try verifying the temperature range with a thermometer. For most fridge's you should see something like a low of 32 and a high of 40. Those would represent the turn off/turn on points for the compressor - that part that actually makes the fridge cold.

If it's swinging much outside those rages, the thermostat in your fridge is suspect. For most fridge's the thermostat is the know you turn to adjust the temperature. It usually has an attached wire/temperature probe that runs down behind a panel in the fridge and senses the temperature so the thermostat can command the compressor to turn on or off.

If it seems like the compressor might be at fault check with the manufacturer's website and you might find a parts diagram and identify the part. Then you can either call a repair technician or try replacing it yourself. You can purchase replacement appliance parts at many places on the Internet such as this site: Search Over 2 1 Million Appliance Parts

Good lcuk.

Email the company of the brand you purchased. Ask them where to buy the part. Cords for appliances like these are usually standard. The availability depends on where you are in.

Hi!
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
If thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
I use part no ERP410 POWER START RELAY, CAPACITOR AND OVERLOAD all in one.

If you still have trouble Go Here:

Neither refrigerator nor freezer cooling at all. Relatively new appliance and power to it not a problem as light bulb in fridge comes on and you can hear the fan.

Hi,
freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then…

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...
