You can Right Click on the c150 in My Computer and select FORMAT.

This will erase all data on the device, but not the O/S.

Best of Luck.

I tried that, but after the bar moves across it returns an error saying something like "windows could not complete the format" Attempts to reflash the firmware results in a similar error. I see no option to restore the device to factory defaults but assume if it has that it would fail too.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.

It could be your firmware. Try updating/upgrading the firmware with the firmware updater from www.sandisk.com

This has worked for me. Good luck! (and come back and let us know if it worked!)

"MTP DB Mismatch Format?"

The Insignia NS-DA2G needs to be placed in File & Folder mode, and you'll need to have your mac show you all files on the device. Macs will create a smaller file that starts with "._" that contain very little information, but can cause problems with Windows based or Windows preferred devices. These files are not ignored by the PC or certain Windows optomized devices. You should erase these files for the unit to perform normally.

If you are unable to delete these files, you can re-format the device to FAT-32 and that will erase all information on the device. You shouls also hit the reset button (located next to the "HOLD" switch) for about 5-10 seconds to clear the internal settings.

I have never used a sandisk but I doubt you could do anything to recover the music. Try reformat/reset it then reinstal all the software and drivers that came with or help with your mp3 player

Delete demo files on Sandisk c150?

The demo songs still don't show up when I select "Show hidden files/folders". I had go to Menu->Settings->Format, and proceed with formatting it to get the demo songs off my Sansa c240 (This will delete all songs/files).
