Very simple, it's good you know your problem. Just buy video coverage lighting system and your video will be great.

SOURCE: Nokia N73 Music edition Camera flash adjustment

  1. Open your camera
  2. Select "options"
  3. Select "Restore camera settings"
  4. Click "yes"
That should fix the flash. If not format the phone:

Format the entire phone. This will delete everything on the phone, but so back up pics, videos, etc on the memory card.

To format:

1. Turn off phone
2. Hold the following keys down WHILE it's turning back on:
3. (3 + * + green call key)
4. Do not let go till it asks about your location
5. Let johnny_20 know how it goes :)

SOURCE: k850i mobile switching on problem

you say the phone powers up and lights the keypad and the camera blue circle... has this phone EVER been in contact with liquid,or dropped / sat on? have you tried to unlock this phone yourself,or has someone else tried for you? it seems like there is some sort of liquid issue here that had made the phone dysfunction...and i have seen cases like this where the phone gets wet,has fallen in some drink, and you try to dry it out and think it is going to be ok because it lights up... is this what has happened? if this is the case then there is no solution to your problem apart from get another phone and take care not to let it come into contact with liquids of any kind..(even rain )

or yet again the firmware/ flashware has been rendered useless.. this would be either by a bad unlock or as above, liquid contact

SOURCE: M8800 camera flash stopped working.

I have this same problem, when you switch the camera function on it doesnt even give you the option to turn the flash on as the option is greyed out. I think it is an error in manufacturing and something you can't fix :(

Hello there.

At a first guess, i would say you have the video quality settings on the camera too high. These new cameras and video recorders can store very high definition images and at the highest setting a laptop will have trouble playing the footage back without skipping or artifacting.

I would recommend checking the camera settings and lowering the resolution to something more manageable.

If you are unsure of this please write back.

Hope this helps.

I want to copy video footage from the tape to the sd card.

Hi!
You cannot transfer the video from Mini-DV to SD card within your camera as your camcorder does not have this feature. If your purpose for finding this function is to transfer your footage to your computer, you may try using the firewire port in your camera to connect it to your pc.
If you need help with the firewire connection, feel free to post a follow up.
Hope this helps!

To transfer video you need to use firewire, not usb. If you use firewire to connect, set the camera to the 'play' icon and then open up a capture program (ie, movie maker) you should be able to just record/capture from there. Good luck!

You CAN NOT use the Firewire to capture your footage like DV or HDV camcorders. I too Have a macbook pro and use FCPS2 to edit my footage. If you want to get the footage off of the HD7u, you'll have to connect via USB2.0 and download the .TOD files and use a program to convert them. I use MPEGStreamclip. It will work with the .TOD files and convert them to a format that iMovie or FInal Cut will understand. If this is not for professional work you'll probably be fine converting the footage to the HDV standard or DV standard and not have to render in FCP to edit the footage.
Caution... MPEG2 codec may be needed. If you have FCP or have Quicktime pro, you probably already have it other wise you can purchase it from apple for $29.99 or if you try real hard (not to hard) you can probably find it on a torrent for free.
I hope this helps your situation

Canon SD 700 IS Movie Sound Issue

This is because of low light and low frame rates in the camera. It records the sound on time but the picture delays. In the camera's video menu, choose a higher frame rate to help this a little. Honestly though, If you want to shoot better video get a video camera.
