SOURCE: I just bought an Evercool fan to replace the cpu

Dell used to be a real *****. The connector looks the same as a industry standard, the industry standard plug fits into the motherboard but they changed the freckin pinouts. The only reason they did this was to make your frustrated. If you want it done right you should build it yourself ;)

Take a look at your old fan are the wires colored? Red typically means voltage+ whereas black is ground. the third wire is information form the motherboard at what the fan should be running at. you are going to have to either take the wires out for the connector and switch them around or you can get one of these nifty things.

I have a 2001 Chevy Impala and last year it was blowing cold air from a.c. then all of a sudden it quit and started blowing hot air.we put freon in it but apparently it all leaked out.what is wrong with...

Most likely a leaking evaporator(this is a wide spread problem due to a crappy manufacturing process). The evaporator core is a "sandwich" of aluminum sections, with a million possible leak points.I replaced the evaporator on my 98 voyager(same design) with a new one from a company called Evercool(it had a different design that had fewer seams). It outlasted the original part 10 times over.

The fridge keeps switching on and off non stop. running it off a inverter (eva power) plugged in to 240v. i have also cleaned the fan and radiator of dust

Are you in the United States? If you are, then you are running your fridge on international power settings. United States standard for voltages is 120V, you are running at TWICE that. This is EXTREMELY unsafe and quite harmful to the fridge. Please switch your inverter to 120V.

I need to find a replacement plastic cpu cooler mounting sockett.

I can tell you that the Socket 478 has been out for production for quite sometime now. Finding a new anything will be rather difficult. My suggestion is to either look on E-Bay for a similar PC that you can get the part(s) from, or check Radio Shack or other electronics outlet store. Good Luck!
