Windows 7 will install with no problems on that motherboard, you can get the Windows 7 drivers for the motherboard here:

SOUND NOT COMING!!!!! ????

Doesn't matter about the Processor, Motherboard chipset, Ram Memory, or Harddrive;

What DOES matter is what audio chipset it is using.

Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_Circuit

The audio I.C., or audio chipset, for the Mercury PIG31Z motherboard, is a Realtek ALC655,

http://www.mercury-pc.com/product-detail.php?link=p-mainboards&subtitle=Mainboard&productid=850#

(Specifications)

Let's look at available downloads, see if there is one for the Realtek ALC655, and Windows 7 drivers,

http://www.mercury-pc.com/downloads_list.php?productid=850

Yes -> Win7_655_Audio
Click on the Down Arrow under the Download subheading, and across from Win7_655_Audio

Remember, you have to download AND install.
Need guidance, post back in a Comment.
(Also post if the download works. I seem to have missed my 'time opportunity' )

I have a Mercury PIG31Z motherboard and running on Win 7. Sound drivers are installed, but there is no sound yet. Help plz

Hi, At the task bar can you see the speaker icon if not or there is no sign in it, the driver that you had install is not compatible for windows 7. Try windows 7 auto update sometime that this will correct the problem. Please check the motherboard what kind of sound system it is. the chip label if that is nvidia, realtek,ati, sis etc. Try to download driver for windows 7 at www.realtek.com. maybe this is your sound system driver. Hopefully that this will work for you. Please get back to us if this information helps you solve the problem.

My windows 7 is not install 64 bits.

Sorry, but the Mercury P4VM800M7 only supports Windows XP. The drivers needed for Windows 7 are not available for that motherboard, which is why you are having problems.

As a consolation, there is a transformation pack available to make XP look like Windows 7:
