Hi i bought a new ikc1816. The prob that i face is that the "second" hand (longer one) when starts by pressing button "s1" the smaller hand on the above eye (i guess it is called 1/10th second hand) also starts rotating both rotates simultauously. This is a chronograph I think and what you are referring to as the long second hand is actually the chrono hand the seconds hand is at 9 oclock on this model and the smaller hand that is moving simultanusly is actually the chrono revolution counter

SOURCE: Hi I dropped my Guess

the only best solution i would give you is to send it to a watch repair center. because even those that have gone on the other side will eventually change location and cause blockage again. there are many good watch repairers depending on your location. for example here.

I have a AW60448W stopwatch that I can't get the alarms to turn off.

AW60448W Stopwatch

Okay, now you have an excellent Stopwatch but don't know how to set it up. Well, I had the same problem but a friend of mine wanted one also and after I bought it for him, he being an old guy, could not read the small print that came with the Stopwatch. I have gone to the trouble of typing it up and you can benefit from this.

Now I don't expect you will send me any donation/money but if the mood strikes you, I will accept no more than $3.00 cash.

How do I turn off the hourly chime on a Wal-Mart Athletic Works stopwatch?
The way to do it is push the "light" button, then the "set" button. If the hourly chime is active, the days indicators will all be highlighted, if it's disabled, they will be turned off too. Basically it's the same as turning the alarm on/off, but instead of using the "start/stop" button, you use the "set button".

I HAVE AN E377 RF WATCH THAT HAS DEVELOPED A PROBLEM. THE DIGITAL DISPLAY OF THE TIME IS SHOWING CORRECTLY BUT THE HANDS ARE SLOW BY 2HRS 20MINS. ACCORDING TO THE JEWELLER, THE BATTERY HAS PLENTY OF...

You need to remove the battery in order to stop the watch. You may have to short the watch's battery terminals after battery removal to discharge the internal capacitor, or just wait until it stops. Next you need to align all of the hands to the 12 O'Clock position. Follow the instruction booklet to do this, by pressing S1(top right button) and holding it until the watch starts to race forward (all 3 hands will move) then you can release it. When the hands reach approx. 11:59, press S1 again to halt the speeding motion. Now be very patient and make brief presses of S1 to advance the hands by one second at a time, until the watch shows all 3 hands at the 12 O'Clock position. When you have achieved this press S4 (Lower left button) for 1 second to confirm. (tedious beyond question)

After the LCD display switches on, set the time zone as instructed in the instruction booklet.
If auto synchronisation doesn't work and the watch moves to 12:03 or thereabouts, then carry out a manual sync, by following the instructions under 'Manual Signal Reception', or wait until the next auto update at 3am.

Let me know if you need any further help.

I have a seiko flight watch, unknown of the model, second hand doesn't reset

I guess the blue faced SEIKO is a Flightmaster (Model: 7T92- OCFO)and it is a great watch. This is a common problem with most chronographs and this happens due to misalignment with usage.

All you need to do is pull out the locking crown all the way out (2nd Step) as if setting time. and then press and hold the top / left button and at first the milli seconds hand resets. after which you have to press the borrom / right button to move the seconds hand in to place. and then reset the time and lock the crown. You can repeat this for Milli Seconds, Seconds, Minutes & hours hands.
Hope this helps,
Krishna Chaitanya GT.
