Does the machine have a belt? Check your owners manual for replacement.

A high pitched squealing noise on a Janome MC3000 is often caused by a dry idler pulley either on the motor belt or the timing belt. These pulleys need a small amount of lubrication from time to time to prevent squealing. If there is no unprecidented tightness when turning the handwheel, this is likely the problem, and is mostly just annoying. It is unlikely that any serious damage has occured, and this problem can fairly easily be solved by a reputable sewing machine repair technician.

Caveat! Oil only if your machine is mechanical. If it is computerized, follow the care instructions in the manual. The squealing could be a belt, May be best to take it for service if it continues.

When I sew my bobbin makes a terrible noise and it seems to jump. It also pulls the fabric and then jams the machine. It's very annoying as I've tried everything to sort it.

It must be either threaded wrongly or badly positioned if it makes a noise. Could also be either incorrect bobbin or machine tension.

My Juki HZL F300 bobbin case is making a terrible noise. It sounds like the bobbin is going to spin right out of it. This noise is SO loud! Do I need to oil anything? It is not even a year old.

Try installing a brand new needle. Sometimes a bent or dull needle will cause lots of racket.

You should consult your owner's manual for maintenance--cleaning and oiling instructions. Most sewing machines do require oil--some more frequently than others. Most machines also need frequent oiling in the bobbin/hook area. Be sure to use only good quality sewing machine oil for your machine--NO 3-in-1, WD-40, cooking oil, or old brown stinky oil.

If it continues to make the noise, you should probably have it serviced. Since it is less than a year old, it might still be covered under warranty, so don't delay.

How do I stop my singer prelude sewing machine from making so much noise?

Reset all dials. Straight stitch, 1 or 2 in length, ease the thread tension and see if it helps. The only area that makes noise is around the bobbin/needle part of sewing machines.

Singer confidence 7470 while sewing the bobbing lifts up and makes a clanking noise the faster you sew. Any suggestions to this problem please?

It sounds like the bobbin is stretch. I fix mine taking a little screw driver (the one that comes with the machine) and turn the little bobbin case screw a tad to adjust the size of the bobbin carriage. Does the sound comes from the upper side of the machine or the under (bobbin) side of the machine? Did you oiled it correctly?

My ELNA 3005 machine is making graunching noises

Open your side cover. normally a screw on top and two on the bottom and maybe one on the side.
After removing the cover you will see one or two tensioner plastic black pullies.(they keep your motor belt and timing belt tight. They need a little bit of machine oil.

Squealing noise Husquvarna 3310 sewing machine. Still sews ok but noise must be harming the machine. Anyone know what I can check?

My Designer 1 started squeaking recently and, like you, I was concerned even though it sewed like usual. I emailed my tech. and he suggested either feed lifter mechanism or feed cam were the most likely causes - simple to repair but I would need to bring machine in for him to hear because there could be other reasons for the squeak. Well I did not have time to go then and there. Next day when I sewed, the squeak was gone!
At the time it squeaked I was sewing through several fairly thick layers (making a pot holder) and sewing very slowly. The next day I sewed normal cloth at normal speed but no matter how slowly I sewed, I could not get it to squeak. I will get it checked eventually but as long as it is squeak-less I'm not going to be concerned.
If yours squeaks all the time no matter what you are sewing then, yes, I think you should get it looked at. Be sure that nothing is rubbing against the body of the machine i.e. accessory tray and making the noise.
