Hiya! These fan units are a royal pain in the neck!

What you need to do, is get to the fan unit, remove the motor from the blade (they usually have a twist and lock bracket held on by a single screw)

The motors for the blowers are just simple shaded pole motors but these often dry out due to dust, and heat over time.

The best cure is to unscrew the motor and pull the shaft and rotor off of the front and back bearings... clean the shaft thoroughly of any debris and set aside.
Then, you want some light sewing machine oil (easily obtainable in most fabric stores) and you want to drip it around the outside of each bearing so the oil absorbs into the pads around the outside of each bearing. Add a smidge of oil to the inside of each bearing too, before reassembling the motor.

Make sure the motor screws are as tight as possible, and then with a screwdriver handle or similar instrument, give the motor shaft a few taps on one side, then a few on the other (this will align the bearings correctly.
Before reattaching the motor, on the other side of the fan unit you will see a little round metal or plastic cover held in place by a rubber gromit. This is the access to the spindle bearing. Pop this cover off and replace the grease under it, add a bit of machine oil too if you like (it cant hurt) and then replace the cover.

Reassemble everything again, and test.

SOURCE: how to repair noisy fan

Try cool it down, and give it a break (if you have used it constantly over a long time). Otherwise you could try clean it for dust, some heaters sucks alot if dust into themselves.
Last option is to get to the customer support at the store you bought it at, and tell them you're problem, they will help you gladly, and probably give you a new one if they can't fix it ;)

This generally requires greasing into the motor or bearing replacement which definitely requires a service.

Motorfan is very very noisy sounds like a truck do i need a new motorfan???

If you can access the fan and take the blade off, you can pack grease in the front bearing, This will alleviate the noise problem and give you time to buy a replacement fan motor. Sometimes a spray of lubricant oil on the fan spindle is enough to give you a temporary fix

How do I replace Gateway dx4831 fan?

The plastic snoot is probably just clipped on to the fan casing which is usually screwed to the heat sink. You could probably just remove the snoot
which will allow you to see what you need to do to remove the fan. The fan can normally be cleaned and a light grease applied to the spindle.
All you have to do is remove the fan, look underneath the fan and there should be a round label with things like the voltage, current, and make of the fan etc. Remove the label and if there is one, a little rubber bung, you will see the end of the spindle. There should be a small split washer around the spindle, it sits in a little grove on the spindle to hold it in to the fan motor. It can be removed with a small blade screwdriver. Just look for the split and carefully lift one end over the end of the spindle. Keep the washer for later. Then push the spindle out using a something like a cotton bud stem with the cotton cut off the end. It will try to go back in as it has a circular magnet inside the the fan around the outside of the spindle and is attracted to the metal part of the motor with the coils on. Clean the spindle and the hole it fits in then apply a thin grease or something like silicon oil or sewing machine oil. Push the fan spindle back in, put the split washer back and make sure it sits in the groove of the spindle by gently pushing on the end to ensure it does not slide out again. Put the rubber bung back(if there is one), clean any oil / grease from where the label sits and stick the label back on, they don't always stick once they have been removed but it can be replaced with a piece of adhesive tape.

Machine is very noisy especially on silent mode.

Check the fan bearing. Lubricate with spray grease on the spindle but be prepared to replace if no better.

Delonghi ESM465ST Oven Noisy Fan

If it is a fan assisted oven, then you are likely to have 2 fans, an external cooling fan, and a fan inside the oven for ciculating the hot air.
So to answer your query, yes it is a noisy fan you are going to have to establish which fan.
It could be a worn bearing, or the fan blade has come loose.
If it is a worn bearing, thge only cure is a new fan.
Hope this helps with your problem.
