Check the obvious first, is the power cord plugged in properly? Both to the outlet and to the monitor (if it's detachable).

Is the outlet working?

Is it turned on? Check the switch.

Is there any light from the monitor? It's either orange or blue. If it's orange, you may have a defective graphics card or memory.

Turns on but doesn't do anything else. Screen doesn't come on. Can hear a clicking sounds like a turn signal sound.

looks like a( DLP) tv digital light proccessor . aka projection. most likely the bulb is burned out . if so cost is $65-125 bucks. aftermarket bulbs are available online but some dont work or burn out prematurely. if you decide to fix it or buy a new tv ,invest in a surge protector. it will save your tv from problems like this . good luck.

Hp1502 stays black

If you see that the monitor is on by a power on light Then the graphic card could be bad or most likely the monitor is gone to haven. Borrow a friend monitor and attach it to your computer and see the result. also check your connections monitor to computer.

My hp1502 does not come alive. no light when power is connected.have changed the cable. should open the back?

There are lethal voltages inside your monitor even when its turned off and unplugged. If you are going to open it be very careful.

You may find some visibly swollen electrolytic capacitors, or some bad solder joints... but you will not be able to diagnose any other faults without some test equipment.

Im a graphic designer and my hp1502 screen is just to bright making me get all my colours wrong ,ive tried adjusting the controls but to nothing works ,is there something in circuit i can adjust to get my...

The best way is through the buttons in front pannel. It will bring an OSD (On screen Display). Adjust the brightness and contrast from there. ( But I guess you have tried it allready )

Then the other solution which i uses to brighten my display is Power Strip.
You can also lessen the brightness/sharpness/contrast.

Unable to change color resolution only 4bit. default monitor is what the monitor tab reads. think i need to download hp1502 driver for free. any ideas

If your screen do not include a driver cd, it is suposed to be a plug-&-Play monitor. Maby your computer do not support plug-&-Play interface. Try to download the driver by searching in google. That can happen if your graphic card that do not have a driver either(see below). If not working: Download A driver for your graphic card. You can check what graphic card you have by a software called "EVEREST Ultimate Edition" Download: http://www.lavalys.com:8081/everestultimate502.exe For more information, contact your manufactuer

Screen Problems with my Laptop

hi dear

1. That can be connection related problem. I check connection between the video cable and the LCD screen, try reconnecting the video cable. It’s necessary to take apart the display panel, unplug the video cable from the connector on the back side of the LCD screen and then plug it back in. In some cases reseating this connection helps. 2. If reconnecting the video cable doesn’t help, here’s what I do in this case. While the display panel is still disassembled, I turn on the laptop and wait until image appears on the screen. Then I move the video cable a little bit without touching the LCD screen. If moving/touching the video cable affects image on the screen, it’s possible that there is a problem with the cable. Apparently there’s a short somewhere inside the cable. In this case, replacing the video cable may fix the problem.
3. If reconnection the cable doesn’t help and moving/touching the cable doesn’t change image at all and the only way to get better picture is moving/touching the LCD screen itself, apparently there is a problem with the LCD and it has to be replaced.

oke

My Sansa doesn´t work well,

If it is still on, hold down the power button for about 15 seconds; that should turn it off. Try turning it on again. If it still does not work, turn it off by holding power for 15 seconds, then on again like this: - Put hold on - Hold record - Press power on This will start recovery mode, follow on-screen instructions. Hope all goes well!!
