SOURCE: Bird Rear-end Size

Hi meduck4,heres what you need brother as I cant see your diff, 3 ways to tell what you have:
#1 The first is the driver's door tag; there will be a one-letter or one-numeral axle code listed there. You can then compare it to the chart below: CODE Rear Axle Ratio Conventional Locking 8 M 2.73 Y Z 3.08 F R 3.45 5 E 3.27 6 W 3.73
#2 The second is the axle tag, attached to the lower lefthand bolt on the rear axle itself. The bottom left line will give you the gear ratio, and the type of rear end (S for limited slip non-locking, and L for locking).

#3 The 7.5" rear axle height is shorter than the width and the shape appears "oval".
The 8.8" rear axle
dimensions are equal and the shape appears "round".

This will tell you what you have my friend, good luck

SOURCE: I am getting a squeaking noise that almost sounds

Are you sure it's from the right rear area? I had something similar happen, and it turned out to be the bearing that joins the front and rear drive shafts at midship. Replaced the bearing, and the noise is gone.

SOURCE: What's your problem? Our bird cage finish is chipping. Can I paint it myself?

My recommendation is to call the manufacturer for paint recommendations and, believe it or not, some cage manufacturers will do that for you. In any event, you must make sure the paint is nontoxic since most birds do scratch it with their beak. After painting Make sure you let it dry completely: Permit the paint to dry for at least 48 hours before moving your bird into the cage, so be prepared to have a secondary cage on hand. Also you should know that although paint may be nontoxic when dry, there are paints may be harmful to your bird if inhaled, so paint it as far as you can from your birds, outdoor area preferred.

How to get rid of lice on small birds

No idea of your country but a 20Second google search revealed this;
To remove lice, it is recommended to use a mild pet insecticide, such as "Nuvan." After spraying the plumage, wait for 2 - 3 minutes and then gently ruffle the feathers over a white tray or plastic sheet to collect the lice which fall from the feathers.
I found that one great way to remove lice and mites from your birds is to sprinkle Sevin Garden dust under their wings and tail, and on the back. Check the birds the next day and if there are still lice present, repeat the process, as needed. I found Sevin dust [active ingredient: Carbaryl (1-napthyl N-methylcarbamate)] equally effective in getting rid of red mites.
Avian Insect Liquidator is another way to get rid of mites, lice and other insects in the birds' environment. This all-purpose insecticide from Vetafarm contains a water-based insecticide that is harmless to birds but effective against insects.
Prevention:
Sanitize and treat the birds' environment (cages, perches, aviaries, nesting areas, etc.). Secondly, allow your birds to bathe daily. Most birds enjoy doing so and if you provide them with a shallow clean dish, they will usually be happy to bathe without encouragement. Some birds like to be misted, or even sprayed. Sprinkling Sevin dust underneath nest bowls and around nests will eliminate all kinds of insects.

Where in my home should I not hang my bird cage?

You should avoid hanging your bird cage in any of the following areas:

In an area where there are drafts

In the kitchen

Anywhere where direct sunlight will shine on the cage

In front of an air conditioning unit/heating vent

Bird cage placement is an extremely important part of your birds life and health. I have found a great video on bird cage placement within a home. I suggest checking it out.

What is a play-top bird cage?

A play-top bird cage is ideal for active birds. They are designed with a play area that sits on top of the cage's surface. Some models are designed with a detachable play top that allows you to remove it and take to any room of your house. Here is an example of a play-top bird cage -
