My grandaughter's Fisher Price Barbie jeep is running slow. I have charged the battery twice and it doesn't make a difference. How can I check to make sure it isn't a bad charger before

Test the charger with a ohm meter, or you could take the vehicle to a Power Wheels service station, they can test the battery for you to see if it is good.

You can find your closest service center here:

After a year in storage, jeep won't work.

the radio runs off of a seperate battery source, so that wouldn't have any effect on this, i would first of all check the battery and charger with a multimeter and make sure that they are showing the correct voltage, if its a 12v battery make sure that they are showing at least 12 volts, if its a 6v battery make sure that its showing at least 6v

In the hood of the jeep there is the battery. The jeep should of came with a plug-in quick charger that fits in a general outlet. Simply unplug the battery, and plug it into your wall in the house, etc.

I have a powerwheels barbie jeep that does not work. The battery is good as I tested it yesterday. How do I go about fixing it? It was running fine just a couple of days ago and the next morning after...

I would suggest checking all of the connections in the wiring. Often the spade type connections can come unseated during use.
Check the following areas:
  1. Connection to the battery itself
  2. Connection to the foot switch (you may need to unscrew it from the floorboard to check)
  3. Connection to the electric motor(s) attached to the rear wheels
If the battery is older, it may have failed. If you have a multimeter, or even a simple test light, you can check to see if the battery has voltage. You're looking for around 5-6 volts. Anything below just off the charger could indicate failure.
Hope that's helpful!

I just bought a barbie jeep and the lady selling it said that it worked great. She washed it last night and now it doesnt work. She has tested the batteries and they are good. What can I do to try to fix...

Well I do hope it dries out...and works.Good luck!Let me know if you need help.I don't really trust battery testers as much as an actual reading, but with all that water, depending on the battery(s),they may be no good now.

Need a wiring diagram for a barbie 12 volt two battery jeep !!!!!

When you mean wired in series you mean you tied the positive from one battery to the negative of the other. That will put 12 volts into the system. Is it supposed to run on 12 volts or 6 volts? If it is only supposed to be 6 volts you should wire the batteries in series. Negative to negative to negative wire to load. Positive to positive to positive wire to Load. Hope this helps
