White screen sony ericsson w810i

I got the say problem 2 days back. I read some pots in forums. This is what worked for me. First fully charge the phone some. Get a friend's phone or something. Then get ready with the data cable and your computer with internet.

Goto Sony ericsson site.

search for w810i SEUS Sonys update system.

At the bottom result it says"Sony Ericsson - Support - Update Service Compatible with K510i W810i W200i .

Click on that and dowload the program. At the right corner it shows the phones which supports it.

install the program and run it.

do exactly what it says.

it worked for me. I got all my contacts and messages back.

If you are seeing a white screen 1 of 2 things has happened. Theconnector for the LCD may have come loose or the LCD itself has gonebad.

Checking out and replacing the LCD screen on the Sony W810i is a pretty straight forward procedure.

Iwould take the phone apart and check the lcd connector first. Reseat itand try it out. If it is still white, your next step is to replace theLCD screen. This should then take care of the problem. A new LCD screenruns about 30 dollars from Ebay.

Hey guyz i get white screen on my phone does any1 knw hw to fix it. nothing comes on it jus a white screen.

I had the same problem. I got mine from EBAY. I took it to a Cingular/ATT store. They removed the battery door and noticed that there was no "water damage indicator sticker", so they said they can only assume there had been water damage and the sticker was removed. Luckily the Ebay seller is handling the matter quickly. So what my point is, is check under the battery door for a white round sticker. White is good. Red or any similar shade indicates water damage. Otherwise goodluck!!

My w810i dropped in w.c i opened it and dry it and clean it with 95% alcohol . my phon is working but it's speed is very low rather than before what can i do?

What the hell why my screen whit how do i do this without paying please answer some one as soon as:)

White screen problem?? i saw a diagram in google it show a i.c solution. so i try it then boom it was back in condition,, no more white screen ^_^ try it
