You can do it on your own.
Just follow these things.
1. Stick to a regular sleep schedule.
2. Avoid naps.
3. Limit caffeine, alcohol and nicotine
4. Do regular exercise
5. Avoid late meals

I did not find any mention of insomnia as a side effect, however the types of conditions sifrol is used for are often associated with insomnia. If the **** is working for the patient's specific condition, talk to your doctor about the insomnia as it might be from some other cause and don't stop the medication.

My doctor said there are different types of insomnia. What are they?

Here are the main types of insomnia:

Transient insomnia - this is normally caused by situational changes such as travel or sickness and doesn't last very long.

Short-term insomnia - this lasts longer and can be caused by stress or medication changes etc

Long-term insomnia - known also as chronic insomnia, this can be caused by depression, digestive issues, sleep disorders etc and goes on for longer than a month.

Since I started taking diet pills, Im finding it really hard to sleep at night. Is there a connection?

Yes - insomnia is listed as one of the side effects for many of the diet pills on the market. It may just take some time until your body adapts to the new drug, or you might find it helpful to change the time of day that you are taking it.

If the insomnia persists, you should be in touch with your doctor as long term sleep loss can be quite dangerous. You may need to switch to a different brand of diet pill.

Why do people take sleeping pills?

A lot of people suffer from insomnia and have trouble sleeping at night. Many wont use medication but will try either alternative methods or just try and live with it. But for some people their inability to sleep starts to impact on their daily life and they take sleeping medication to help them get enough sleep to be able to work etc

G5 has insomnia won't stay in the sleep mode

Usually this is caused by a USB printer unnecessarily clamoring for attention.
Disconnect ALL your USB devices and the problem ought to go away. Then connect them one by one to find out which the culprit is.
To zap PRAM, shut down the Mac, then push the start button and immediately hold down Command-Option-P-R until you hear the chimes pass by three times. But I don't think this will affect your problem.

i was having the same problem too but after i did a diegnosic on the game i found that insomnia games run off a similar engin. I realized that i had another saved game from insomnia "Resistance: Fall of Man". For some reason in that exact spot in the game it would try to load something from the engine and read off the Resistance file there for crashing the game and make hex code apear on screen. Simply just delet any saved games you have from insomnia titles and try this spot again it should work.
