Are you able to pull the game out manually?
The eject feature isn't necessary for the console (it just aids in pulling the game out straight.) You can pull it out manually, just make sure you don't pull it out at an angle to prevent bending or breaking the game. When you get the game out, clean it thoroughly with rubbing alcohol on a q-tip.
When you turn it on does it make any affect on your tv screen at all? If it doesn't it is probably your av cord. They do go bad over time. A new one is approx $2 on e-bay.
If you get a black screen or fuzz on your tv, it's just a dirty game or console.
