Reset ink levels

If you're referring to the OEM/Original cartridges the short answer here is "You can't!".
However you can opt for alternative ink supplies in the form of Refillable Cartridges or CIS (Continuous Ink Supply) systems as these use Auto Reset Chips (ARCs) to reset the ink level.
Obviously you have to make sure they really are full of ink but it's a much simpler approach than trying to reset original cartridges.
Hope that's of some help.

I HAVE JUST REFILLED MY LEXMARK X2550 PRINTER COLOR CARTRIDGE NUMBER 35, BUT A MASSEGE ON MY PC SAYS: "Invalid Cartridge". How do l get it to be recognised so that l can use it?

hello

35 is color ink cartridge .. high yield,

A new color print cartridge needs to be installed.

If available, click the Continue button on your computer screen to print using the

black (or photo) print cartridge. (The Continue button is available only at the

beginning of a print job.)

Note: A variable amount of ink remains in the color print cartridge.

Follow these steps to replace the color print cartridge in your printer:

1 Cancel the print job if not already canceled.

2 Replace the color print cartridge with a new cartridge. For more information,

see "Removing a used print cartridge" on page 35 and "Installing print

cartridges" on page 35.

3 Print again.

To order supplies, click Order Ink on your computer screen. You can also see

"Ordering paper and other supplies" on page 40 in this guide.

Hi Folks: I would appreciate any help and suggestions: HP DesignJet 1055CM error 0A0020 006501D1 Thanks, Paul

"Error in calibrating the APS sensor"

APS= Air Pressure System - it provides air pressure to pump in to the ink cartridges, thus pumping ink to the printheads through the ink tubes.

First things to try
- Remove all Ink cartridges.
- Power down printer.
- Power on.
- Place cartridges in ink supply station, check if they are recognized.

- Replace the one cartridge that is almost empty.

- Check all cables and air tubes in the ink supply station. (you need to remove left cover of printer)
Make sure they are all properly connected and not damaged.
Make sure the air tubes are free running - NOT pinched or bent!

- Lastly,
When all above fails, replace faulty APS sensor and / or pressure valve.

Printer has shown error 10.00.00 Supply Memory Error

Please make sure to ask a specific question.

The 10.00.00 Supply Memory Error is given when the printer can not read the information on your ink cartridges. This can be common when using non-genuine ink cartridges (non-HP).

Remove and reinsert your ink cartridges. If that doesn't work, try pressing the green button to accept the error and continue.

Officejet d135 - "Supply Expired" error message

HP, in order to sell more ink, monitors the expiration date of the cartridges installed. Solution is either to buy a new unexpired cartridge from HP or to disable the date monitoring built in to the printer. This latter is done by removing the button cell located inside the D135 printer on the left hand side or by simply slipping a thin piece of plastic between button cell and metal contact. You will no longer have date function on printer, but it won't object to expired cartridges either.

PRINTER WON'T ACCEPT NEW INK CARTRIDGE

From the Brother solutions website:

If the message "NO CARTRIDGE" remains on the LCD after you have installed the ink cartridges, then one or more of the cartridges may not be properly installed. Verify that the cartridges are installed correctly by following these steps:

Note
Cartridges that have already been installed are no longer vacuum-sealed, so it is very important that these cartridges remain upright. If a cartridge is removed from the machine and placed on its side, air may be introduced into the ink supply tubes. As a result, repeated cleaning will likely be required before normal print quality is restored.

  1. Unplug the machine from the AC power outlet, wait approximately 10 seconds and then plug it back in.
If the date and time appear on the display, the issue is resolved. If the display continues to show NO CARTRIDGE, continues to Step 2.

  2. Open the scanner cover by lifting it from the right-hand side until it locks securely into the open position.

  3. Remove the black ink cartridge by pulling the white plastic hook (locked over the edge of the ink cartridge) toward you, then lifting the cartridge out.

  4. The LCD should prompt you to install the black ink cartridge.

  5. Reinstall the black cartridge. Press down FIRMLY on the top of the cartridge until it is fully seated. Push the white plastic hook towards the cartridge to verify it is fully latched over the cartridge's top edge. Repeat STEPS 2 - 4 to verify each that of the color cartridges (magenta, cyan and yellow) is installed properly, then continue to STEP.

  6. Close the scanner cover. The unit should begin cleaning automatically.
