Kenmore brewnwave blows fuse

You have a short, if it does it when you plug the unit to power(not turned on and working) problem is where the wall voltage (AC voltage ) comes in and I would in that case look for the large AC filter cap to be buldged or out of its normal shape(photo attached of a typical one).

If it does blow the fuse when turned on to cook suspect the Diode that most use, the Magnetron that does the cooking or the inverter board that powers the Magnetron.

See attached photos of typical ones, some people can or cannot do this kind of repair but this will give you some possible reasons--when a fuse blows there is a short.

12_19_2012_2_46_22_pm.jpgTypical diode(should not read short across it.

12_19_2012_2_47_21_pm.jpgTypical Magnetron, cannot be tested easily but would have to be replaced to know--the units vary in shape very little..

12_19_2012_2_48_53_pm.jpgTypical AC cap, these will vary in shape as some are more oval but the outer part is metal coated with clear plastic. This can be tested with a ohm meter.

Need schematics on magic hostess meat slices model mh7e, I think I'm missing a barring behind the blade gear.

The Magic Hostess slicers are the same as Rival 1101 series slicers. What you probably are missing is a friction reducing washer that mounts between the blade and blade head (housing). I offer reproductions of this part, photo attached; these reproduction washers are a different color but functionally equivalent to original. If interested, contact me at lallin@juno.com

The photo I uploaded doesn't show up for some reason. To see photo of blade washer and usage, see https://flic.kr/s/aHsjuXYKep

I have microwave model fmv156dcg. After a period of time the digital display has become hard to read. If i squat down a bit and look up at an angle I can read the display but it's almost impossible to...

If you have a smoker in the house, the display may be coated with tar from the smoke. Spray some window cleaner on a soft cloth or paper towel, and gently wipe off the display face (do not scrub; it scratches easily).

The power supply capacitor on the controller board may be going bad. Unplug the oven, remove the top/side cover, and inspect the electrolytic capacitors. The tops should be flat; if any are domed or obviously leaking, they should be replaced (note: sometimes the top of the capacitor has a thin plastic disc covering it; doming of the disc is normal). See the photo below to identify good and bad electrolytic capacitors. This photo is from a TV or computer power supply and your controller will not look this. You're looking for components like bad ones marked in the photo or the good ones next to it. If you see a bad capacitor, post a comment with the capacitance (e. g., 2200 uF) and voltage rating, and I'll recommend a part number that I know will be a good replacement. The cost is usually under $2 plus shipping from whatever supplier you choose.

It is possible that the display itself is going bad, but this is not very common.

How can i get IBM Thinkpad T43 Ethernet driver

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

I hope this helps.

Sharp R1870

This is a problem in one of the damper-related components, most likely the switch, but it may also be the motor or the damper door.

The damper closes and opens depending on cooking mode. See the attached sample photo.

The damper is a door located on the right side of the innards. The damper closes and opens depending on cooking mode. See the attached sample photo.

If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

You can find an exploded view by entering your FULL model number here: http://www3.sears.com (the 3 is correct)

You can order Sharp parts from that Sears link or from Tritronics at http://www.wehaveparts.com
