The chain lubricator not feeding oil
Harry, I would recommend first removing the chain and guide bar. The oil pump is not what you'd call a high pressure pump as it just kinda ooooozes oil out of the sidecase of the saw in line with openings like a slot, groove or hole in the guide bar. These slots and/or holes are notoriour for plugging up if the saw is not properly cleaned, maintained or serviced regularly. Chances are a good cleaning of these openings will solve your problem. If you have compressed air, that will work well. If not, and old tooth brush and a lot of hugging, puffing and blowing will be in order.
I have a habit of touching up the chains, and cleaning my saw(s) thoroughly after each use including cleaning the air filter, oil grooves, sprocket, guide bar and chain.
