You may have to download MBAM from another internet connected computer, burn it to cd, and install it that way, but it will remove most problems. If you have difficulty installing it, simply rename the .exe file.
Follow the first 4 steps of these malware removal protocols, without rebooting, then restart your system and see how it's running. Run a full scan with you AV program. Then report back and let us know how it feels.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

HOW I DELETE VIRUS HALP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1?

The best way to get rid of a virus is not to get them in the first place by running Internet Security Software. My favorite is Kaspersky Internet Security, I've never had a virus and I go on all sorts of websites.

Since you already have a virus, here are some things that you can do to get rid of it:
First, buy a professional anti-virus software program or download a free one. My favorite free anti-virus software program is AVG Antivirus.

If you cannot install a software program because the virus is so bad, you can try an online virus scanner. My favorite is Bit Defender's online scanner. It is free to use.
Free Online Virus Scan

Sometimes viruses turn out to be a result of something other than a virus like Malware, Spyware, or Adware. These nasty problems are not always caught by anti-virus programs, so you may need a combination of an anti-virus program and Malware Bytes (also free) to get rid of your problem.

I have nasty ads on my homepage that i do not want there. how did they get there and can they be done away with

You have some viruses and malware.

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

Download, Install and Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:
When Installing choose the non-pro version.

Download, Unzip, Install and Run TDSSKiller:

Download, Install and Run Super Anti-Spyware:

If you have an outdated Anti-virus program then Download, Install and Run Avira Anti-Virus:
Make sure to select ALL of the "threat categories" when you install or configure Avira.

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

I scan my computer for viruse and have some , iwould like to clear everything up. i dont have a credit card is there any way to do this free

Are you sure your computer actually has one or more viruses? You may be a victim of one of the fake antivirus programs that can get into your computer. These pop up windows showing scan results that tell you all sorts of viruses have been found, but they're all completely bogus. The only real trouble is the program itself. Usually it becomes difficult to use the computer because the program keeps nagging you, or it refuses to let other programs run because they are "infected".

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is a good tool to start with. Download and install the free version. When you run the program, have it check for updates and then run a quick scan. It's a very effective program even in its free version and I use it frequently to get rid of nasty stuff on client machines. You can also install the latest version of one of the free anti-virus programs (Avast!, AVG or Avira) and scan your computer. Sometimes a new version or different program can find and eliminate something another program missed.

You can also find many removal tools for specific viruses if you need them. is a good site with many tools and helpful information for getting rid of viruses.

I am using Windows XP SF3. I guess my laptop is attacked with a nasty virus as it has disabled my task manager, regedit and it doesnt even allow me to use any antivirus programs like mcfee, avast, panda,...

Norton Anti Virus is possibly the only programme that will be successful in removing the virus.
Unfortunately XP is not supported by a lot of manufacturers any more but as you have SP3 you could be lucky when downloading updated drivers from the manufacturers web site.
Run avti virus first and then CHKDSK/F to attempt to repair the errors left by the virus.
Hope this helps.

Can you please help me get connected to the internet on my laptop. I am connected on all other 4 computers that share the same wireless. I picked up a nasty spyware that erased Norton and will not allow me...

Try rebooting in "safe mode".That virus probably didn't delete your virus protection, just hid it.
Follow this link on how to get into Safe Mode. Then run your virus protection in deep scan to get rid of the nasty.

My gateway 7330gz won't boot beyond the boot screen half the time and the other half of the time it boots but it has stuff missing such as my wireless or my system restore. Won't let me reboot from my XP...

Sounds like you have a very nasty virus on board...and even if you do manage to quarantine it, I think you are going to find that it has corrupted your boot menu. Does it boot in safe mode and can you get into the administrator user? If so, you may want to do that and run some anti virus scans. If you have a friend with a computer or if you have another one....go to google and download DR. Webs anti virus....and MalwareBytes malware remover...they are free to download and use. Put them on a flash drive and run them from the drive. If they don't find anything, we may need to dig deeper....get Avast anti-virus, it's also a free download, run it and let it do a pre-boot scan and see what it finds. You have something nasty in there I belive. Good luck
