If you know your password for your phone system do this. enter programming mode by pressing transfer key, type 800 enter your password then volume up key then speaker key. go to program 601 station groups find unused station group ie 510. make this group unconditional and under members add all thr extensions you want to ring then press speaker key. then go to program 406. enter line number of line and under night mode tell it the station group number you programmed above

Our office has a two line system on a idcs 18d our first line will ring throughout the office but the second line is silent and only lights up. How do we make it to where it rings as well?

Assuming you have the programming manual, you need to program trunk 702 to ring to the operator group 500 in MMC 406 in the software programming manual.

My Samsung iDCS 18D phone will not ring. The Line light flashes, and I can asnwer calls, but it won't ring. I have tried adjusting volume levels, etc- but it seems like the ringer is turned off.

First prove it is not a faulty handset. Find someone elses phone that is the same model as yours and rings then plug it into your line. If that phone rings your handset is faulty. If the borrowed phone will not ring but flashes then it is programming

Enabling a extension to ring on night mode

We may need to know the exact system you are using and the model of phone.

Also we will need to know the group number the system is using for night mode. Normally group number 601 is day and 602 is night. If you call 602 that would ring the phones currently in night. Also you can try calling at night and watch the screen of the phone that rings if its a smaller screen phone press the info button while its ringing and one of the options will show the night ring group number as well.
Respond to this and I can further help.
