Plug your monitor into the onboard video and make sure your bios options have onboard video turned on and fire it up

The method I gave you is to test if your onboard video is working. If you are looking for other ways to test this you will at least need another video card in it that works so you can see the screen to run hardware test/change settings. Please do not give bad ratings when you post little to no info and a tech makes a stab at helping you. Does not encourage the experts like myself to help you.

No disply p5vd2-x

Hello, If there is no display, then follow this steps to troubleshoot it, As it been displaying before and suddenly stops displaying, if your answer is yes then start with 1 check whether there is power to the board i.e power gets to the motherboard 2 Check the cmos battery, whether it is still ok, you can find the cmos battery on the motherboard 3 Check the RAM or memory whether it is firmly connected to its slot and working good 4Check whether your VGA chip on the motherboard is good if not you have to get an external VGA card and plug it on one of the slot either PCI or AGP slot. 5Check the data cable to the monitor, if it is still good,by removing it and testing it a good one. 6Check if the problem is not with your monitor either CRT or LCD by testing with a good one. If the motherboard is a new one and is not displaying , i would recommend you return it and collec a new one regards

Does my Proview PL926WBi 19

Any monitor will work with any computer provided the correct graphics card driver is installed. When you install Vista and you do not install the graphics driver, Windows will default to Generic VGA driver and you will not get the best resolution that the monitor can display.

The monitor will not display or power up. I've

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.
Please post back what you find.

My d845 mother board dont display

Its probably caused by the RAM, have it checked. If you can do it yourself, clean the RAM as shown in the image below:
Install it back to the computer and turn it on. If problems persist try another RAM, it may already need replacement.

In case your computer has 2 RAMS installed, clean them both. To test if there is a busted one, install the one then turn on the PC, if it works shut down the PC. Then try the other one, if it works too then it just needs some cleaning. But if not, one of them needs replacement. You can still use your computer with 1 RAM, just don't expect the same performance as having two RAM. Resetting the CMOS may also help you in the process.

Please reply if this has helped you. Thanks.

My acer al1916w displays the image for 3 seconds then goes black

Sounds like your video card. Check to make sure it's connected properly. If so, check to make sure it's properly seated to *********** board. The possible issue could be the card is connected enough to display the picture, but not enough to communicate with the monitor to stay on because it has an active feed. Best of luck fixing it

Black screen when starting a game

check for the video card speed requirement of your game. it might be too high for your video cards, a 256MB video card could not display a game with 512MB video card speed requirement.

Are you using the onboard video or a display card adaptor?

1. If you are using the onboard video then try installing a known working PCI or AGP display card to test if the problem is onboard video or the actual motherboard.

2. If you are using a display card then try another known working display card (PCI or AGP) to test whether it's your displaycard that is faulty.

3. If it still doen't work then try removing your memory modules on the motherboard and replace them with known working memory.

4. If it still doesn't work then try removing your CPU and reinserting it again (be carefull as you do not want to damage your CPU!).

5. If it is still not working then you may need to replace your motherboard or take your PC into a repair facility.

Test your memory.

Check one stick at a time and use a program such as memtest86 free for use.

Memory can cause these problems.

The mother board could be the problem.

Try another display card in one of the pci slots. See if the display will work that way.
If the internal display is not working right, you may be able to turn it off. Or just use another video card.

take care,
