i WANT TO REMOVE MICROSOFT VISTA AND REPLACE IT BY MICROSOFT XP IN MY LAPTOP COMPAQ PRESARIO CQ45 207TU.i WANT THE DRIVERS OF MICROSOFT XP THAT WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH LAPTOP.PLEASE GUIDE ME CORRECTLY
To be able to do a change from vista to xp you have to do a clean install of the XP...that is you have to restart your PC and BOOT with your XP CD.First you need to have all your driver. If you go on searching for drivers according to your Laptop Model you'll get confused or maybe not find them.Install this software [EVEREST] first from here http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Everest-Home-Edition-Download-16369.html and when you run it you'll find the make and model of your hardware. The important ones are AUDIO,VGA [Graphics] and the LAN [that makes half of your worries go away].Download the drivers for the three from their specific sites or search them on Google it makes a lot more easier.
For the installation of XP,this site will give you an Idea http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_sg_clean.asp
read each and every step and I suggest if you are doing it for the first time you use another computer so that you can get help if you want to.you can also find this youtube link helpful http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlnddZ7w5J8

I hope it helped.

Microsoft's Elite Wireless keyboard and mouse is an excellent combination for use, according to your criteria. It costs less than $65.00 and is easily connected to replace a wired keyboard and mouse.
I have been using two of them for years now, and have never had a problem with them.
They eliminate excess wires, and work like a charm.

Hi, I have got BASE MK-939S KEYBOARD with no manual, and I basically know nothing about keyboards. The right hand speaker of the keyboard isn't working at all. I am just wondering if it is possibly a setting or a button I need to press to make it work? Cheers
