How can i stop unwanted postal mail for a person that does not live at my address

Write NSP (no such person) on the envelope and give it back to the mail man. This only works with first class mail and not junk mail.

How do I stop spam

Your email account should have the option of sending unwanted emails to the junk mail folder. If you send unwanted mails there your account should automatically send messages from that particular sender to the junk mail folder. This is the case with microsoft accounts. Also, by right clicking on a message in your inbox you can find the option to create a rule for messages from a particular sender. This gives you additional control. You should investigate if you are fed up with unwanted mail.
A lot of people get mail from sites they have subscribed to but have not bothered to unsubscribe, this will save a lot of time sorting out out unwanted messages. another thing to do then.

Good Luck with it, it could save you a bit of time if you can get all sorted out.

Block unwanted email

It depends on your mail program, you can set up Junk or Spam mail filters to ban groups or individual mail addresses.
How you do it and whether it is automatic depends on your mail program.
Some like Outlook online will filter out the mail and put it in a junk mail folder for you, rather than in your inbox, but it does not stop you receiving the mail. You have to decide whether to delete it yourself.

How do I block unwanted faxes on my Sharp MX-4111N Printer?

There should be a section in the manual. Not to sound text bookish and evasive but each is a little different But a fax is a fax. it's a land line that still has parameters. To block an in coming fax would be the same as a blocked call on your house phone. Some mild programming knowledge would be required. Just as if I would say mild know-how to program a remote or change a contact on your e-mail list. If these last items are a challenge for you then entering data in a fax may not be your ball of wax. someone you know might help out. If you're up for the challenge then I would have you pull out the book on the fax portion of your printer. Nice multi-units like that usually have 2 or 3 books, each having to do with a major function. ie fax//printer// networking(connecting to a hub). The fax book will have sections on entering speed dials and group polling and this is the area that will detail what buttons to push. some even have a length of fax to dis-allow long drawn out junk mail. Some businesses control their unwanted faxes by setting up just the opposite~~numbers ONLY to accept. Others no matter what get ignored. Another way if these don't work is what many businesses do is to put a time to receive, which basically is arbitrarily 7am to 430pm. You might just eliminate a lot of unwanteds that way.( knowing specifically that they always call after 7pm... or such...get it? ) good luck hope this helps a smidge~~~SC

Unwanted familyy photo on 'Sent' e-mails

You may have a photo associated with you in your address book.
Open the application called "Address Book". If it's not on your Dock (the strip at the bottom of the screen), click the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Type in Address. The top hit should be the Address Book app. Press the RETURN key.

  • Now, find your name. It may be the only one.
  • Click your name.
  • Click the EDIT button at the bottom of the Address Book window.
  • Double-click the picture, if there is one. (Double-click means click twice rapidly without moving the pointer.)
  • A little window should pop up allowing you to choose a different picture.
If you have trouble, please let us know.
