SOURCE: hi...my AOC 17" CRT monitor

Change to the lowest settings you can on the other monitor, then connect the 17" CRT. If you can see anything, go to display settings and slowly bring the settings up. If you lose the display, press "n" (there is a dialog box asking if you want to keep the settings, y or n). Most likely it is a refresh rate that is set to high. Try setting this to 60 Hz for starters.

Hope this helps.

Power led brightly on but no display on AOC S5G10

It is understood that your AOC monitor is not working, you had followed troubleshooting steps like connecting VGA and Power cable from monitor to computer and the monitor panel light is ON but still no display. You have tried connecting another monitor and it is working fine, so it is advised to contact AOC support to check if the monitor is under warranty and it can be replaced or repair. Screen says out of range

This can happen if the output from the computer has the resolution set higher than your monitor is capable of displaying, or the refresh rate is higher than the monitor can display. Set the refresh rate to 60Hz. Try connecting a friend's monitor temporarily.

Bought new aoc monitor and plugged in and all I get a floating screen safer saying "input not support".

Your display resolution is set to something outside the range your AOC supports.

Start Windows in VGA mode (pick that option from the startup menu you get when you press F8 after the manufacturer's logo comes when you turn the computer on). Then set the display mode to 16-bit color and 800X600 resolution. This will allow Windows to start up next time with settings just about every monitor can handle.

Once WIndows is up and running, make sure you change your display settings to something the monitor can handle. Specs are in the manual or on the manufacturer's website, but resolution of 1024X768 should be another safe choice. You should also think about installing any driver software supplied with the monitor.
