Question about Whirlpool Estate TAWS750PQ 27-Inch Washer

1 Answer

Water leaking from washer

My washing machine is leaking a good amount of water from 2 places in the front bottom of the machine. It leaks when the washer is filling up and a little when it is emptying. It is definitely heavier though when it is filling up. I thought that I might have put too much soap in so I ran a wash with just vinegar and water to reduce the suds (as the first time I noticed the leak was due to the suds coming out from under the washer). The leak is now less sudsy but is still coming out. Any ideas?

When I turn on washer, water leaks form the bottom of the slide draw where detergent is placed. It is a large amount of water and runs down the front of the washer.

That sounds like a problem with the water diverter in the dispenser. Or something blocking the water and diverting it out through the dispenser. Better call in a serviceman.
