The password has probably been entered incorrectly too many times and now the SIM locks up. You need to contact your provider because you need a new replacement SIM card. I know its a pain but it is for protection purposes.

HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin .

If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Do not try PUK(new pin code) code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.

Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no.
Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.
There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.

you would have to contact your service provider to get the puk code to unlock the pin. code: **05*PUK*new pin*re-type new pin#.
But you would have to verify puk code from your service provider first b4 you try the process on your phone

you must select sim or phone directory you can see it above the screen which it has the mobile shape or sim card shape

Your problem is very likely to be about your GSM operator, not your SGH-L700. Contact them and get the details about the number of their SMS center and other important stuff; then go to your phone's "Settings" menu, be sure to enter the correct data.

copy all your contact to your sim card and insert the card to your new phone.
