It could be a fuse blown in side the unit. it could be a bad power supply. it might be a power issue. make sure you have power connected properly and all connections are made correctly.

Klh powered subwoofer model ASW10-120B... when you plug in to power... it makes a loud buzzing/humming noise

I would check the caps on the power supply. They are rather large electrolytic capacitors that will look like they burst and/or leaking. When these die, the caps ground and the sub will make a loud buzzing sound. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace them yourself. Replace them with the same voltage or a little bigger and same with the size.

If the cap. says 16v 4700pF on it, for example, a 20v 5300pF or a 16v 6200mF cap. will work for this application.

I need to know how to connect a powered subwoofer to my pv10

The most functional way to use a powered subwoofer with this mixer would be to plug it into the EFX Send output. Then you can add whichever channels you want to go to the subwoofer (i.e. YES for the iPod, NO for the mics) and how much by using the EFX knobs for each channel. Note that when you say "powered subwoofer," this assumes you mean "self-powered subwoofer," because this mixer will not provide power.

Bose subwoofer has no power when pluged in

Make sure your power outlet and your audio source are ok. If they are then the subwoofer's power supply is probably dead.

How do i set up my subwoofer sawm40

Sounds like you have a passive subwoofer, you run speaker wire from 'front speaker receiver out' to the subwoofer, the 'subwoofer out' to your front speakers. Seem like your sub has a crossover that grabs the bass frequencies and passes off the rest to the front speakers

If you have a 'subwoofer line out' on your reciever and a 'line in' on you subwoofer then just use that single wire, this would be for a powered sub. You know that you have a powered sub if your sub has a power cord attached to it.

No sound out of subwoofer

Connection from receiver subwoofer output jack RCA plug male go into your powered subwoofer low level input with other end of cable, then you need to select Subwoofer YES/NO on the JVC receiver speaker setup menu option, select YES if this is a powered subwoofer you are using, should power up the subwoofer, may have to adjust a test tone balance for multi speaker output also, try trimming up on the subwoofer channel to initiate the signal on if the sub has an auto-on feature.

Subwoofer

Most AV receivers do not have a built in amplifier block to drive a subwoofer, and merely provide the subwoofer output channel at line voltage. Thus, a powered subwoofer is required. Does the subwoofer require mains power? From your description, I'm guessing it doesn't. If not, it does not have a buit in amplifier, you will need to purchase a monoblock amplifier, which is just a mono amplifier with a volume control, no tone controls or anything else. Make sure that the amplifier power rating is as close as possible to the subwoofer power rating, as it is quite possible to blow a speaker by using an amplifier whose power output is too low, by overdriving the amplifier , and putting DC through the voice coil when the amplifier clips. If it does require mains power, it will have an amplifier built in, but does not have line level inputs.
