Depending on wear the tear is at determines the issue. The wrinkling paper and the look of your printer sounds like some sort of fuser issue. Recycled paper is more likely to wrinkle and the grain can cause paper to wrinkle as well. The Long grain paper is up and down the sheet and short gain is side to side on a sheet of paper. If your printer is on a long grain setting and you have the pages coming out sides ways or vice versa then your print outs can wrinkle.

Paper will not feed

Paper feeding problems can be related to the media (paper) condition, paper jams or paper quality or the printer.

1.Remove any jammed paper from the your printer.

2.Lift any covers and lids, and wipe the rollers with a soft, damp cloth. A light colored cloth will help you identify dirt that comes off the rollers.

3.Use fresh paper for your printer. Use dry, flat paper. Don't overfill the tray. Discard any paper that curls or is wrinkled.

Paper keeps getting jammed in the back of printer. Can not figure out what would be jamming it. Paper does not look wrinkled.

Best answer here is get a can of compressed air and blow away any dust or dirt buildup at the sensor points. Second get WD40 and a lint free cloth. Spray a small amount of WD40 on the cloth and gently clean the rubber rollers and nothing else. Most paper jams are from something very simple. Try print 5 blank sheets after you are done. This will absorb any excess oil. Failing thsi you may want to drop it off at a local computer shop for roller replacement. They do wear down. Best of Luck.

Please help me with printer jam

Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
Turn off the printer.
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly (see A). The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper (see B). Don't force anything, though.
Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
If you get toner or ink on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and then launder the clothing in cold water.
Watch out for loose toner or ink on jammed paper, and do your best to avoid spilling it on yourself or the printer. If a little bit of loose toner or ink gets in the printer, though, it should clear after a few sheets are printed.
If you think this solution helps you then your token of appreciation in the form of Rating and a testimonial will be esteemed.

Paper is jamming during printing process. Gets half way round and jams. please suggest solutions

There are rollers that the paper has to go between to be pulled forwards. When the rollers get dirty with paper dust, paper starts jamming. So you need to clean the rollers with a moist (not wet) soft cloth, Keep rolling the rollers manually and keep cleaning them. Then allow a few minutes to dry them up. And no jam after that.

Paper Jam

hi...
1)After years of heavy use the rubber rollers which transport the paper through the printer can get a shine to them and tend to loose their grip. This causes misfeeds and blockages.

Using a damp cloth and something like Jif (slightly abrasive kitchen/bathroom cleaner) rub the rollers whilst rotating them by hand. With a clean damp cloth remove any cleaner and you should see the rubber has lost it's sheen.

Some rollers can be hard to get at but a little patience pays off. I've reclaimed dozens of printers due to be scrapped in this way.

You can also try turning the printer upside down and softly tapping it. You could be surprised at what drops out. My best to date was pieces of an illegal plant substance and a rare Chinese coin. (Yes it was returned to the owner :-)

2)The flashing error code that indicates a jammed printer is the digital-age equivalent of a flat tire. Sooner or later it happens to everyone, so you'd better know how to get things moving again if you want to finish your print job.
