Did you refill the cartridges? If yes, you seem to much inkrefill. When hp refilled cartridges, respiratory holes must beclosed as usual. The hole should not be sealed but should notbe too loose. If too tight, the ink will not come out, if too loose,ink will flood because the force of gravity. At the time of printing, and emerging gaps, try to head off and check the bottom of the head is the ink floods.

That is quite normal . All inkjets run a cleaning cycle when turned on to make sure there is a good flow through the printhead and to prevent the head from becoming blocked. You cannot turn it off.
