If the noise is mechanical, it might be cominig from some fan, maybe lots of dust in fan making it not work correclty.

If also hanging/crashing related to this, it might be HW issue, possibly with hard disk. Check if warranty still available and check with them for further support.

Go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver for the monitor and it should restore the functionality. Also go to the Sony website and download any video drivers for your PC.

If you start the machine in Safe Mode, press F8 at bootup, you can then do two things, either you could do a system restore to an earlier time before you installed the SP. OR, go through to Safe Desktop, and go to Add/Remove programs and remove the service pack, from there.

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NS20E laptop. When I start it the message comes " SMART Failure Predited on Hard Disk. Warning: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be

Smart error, failure or S.M.A.R.T. has been tripped. They all mean the same thing. Your PC's HDD is dying, how fast? Nobody knows. So what it really comes down to is that you have a limited amount of time to access your HDD in more ways than your panicked mind can come up with right now. So until you can figure out a plan, the most important thing you can do is turn off your PC. Remember running your HDD is using up valuable time. So remove the HDD, Go get a reliable replacement (your HDD is dying) and install your favourite O/S. At this point I would suggest you purchase an external HDD enclosure so can hook up the old HDD and transfer back the important files.

I want motion eye drivers for my Sony VAIO VGN-NS20e

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. They are usually free of charge.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Laptop Freezing Problem

To be honest this still sounds like a fan problem. The freeze will happen if the laptop overheats. Maybe you should have it repaired again by a different company.(ask for the fan to be replaced!)
