Question about Computers & Internet
Try contacting the school. They probably had a time delayed software destroyer installed to ensure it would only work "free" while you were in school. Hence the "now being charged".
Your only other option is to buy new software, wipe the hard drive, and install Windows from the new software disk.

SOURCE: will not boot
Try booting into Safe-Mode and check if it happens again. If it doesn't go to Device Manager and remove any device with an exclamation mark. Also, try reinstalling the mouse driver.
If it doesn't work, backup your things and format the drive.

In Windows XP, The STOP: 0×0000007B: error often occurs if you move a hard drive that contains Windows XP to another computer or if you have just installed a newmotherboard or drive controller. This error occurs in these cases because your registry does not contain driver entries for the current motherboards drive controller. So in effect, the device driver that Windows XP is loading from the registry will not work with the new drive controller.
Fixing the STOP: 0×0000007B: Error:
The easiest approach to fixing the error is to locate download and install the latest hard drive controller driver for your motherboard. In many cases the driver in question controls a ATA or SATA device.
