Question about Maytag MGR5751AD Gas Kitchen Range
Pre-heat display rises too rapidly and shuts burner burner off before oven reaches 200 degrees. Won't get hot enough to bake. Replaced oven sensor and igniter but did not help.
Could be the oven thermostat, that's the long skinny tube with the thin copper pipe coming off it follow it back to the oven knob. Test it by putting a putting an oven thermometer in and compare the difference they only cost a few dollars at good home ware shops.
