Serial number won't help. That is an arbitrary number assigned by the manufacturer. Is there a model number or upload pics

You can find model number and serial number on the back of your player. There is a small sticker on the back which contains model and serial number. Its also written on the box. In some players you can find model number by going into root menu> Settings> About player.

the serial number on the this model is located on a small white label, on the front rail just below the area where you install the ink tanks. Its says `serial number' on it.

To remove the radio unit you will need removal keys that can be purchased from any good auto accessories shop.

Look on the side of the player.You should see a silver decal near the bottom. The third line with apx 13 digits of letters and numbers is the serial number you need.

check the small print on the back of the ipod at the bottom. if it's not there it should be listed in the menus under SETTINGS>ABOUT. you should find it there.

The serial number is behind the battery. You will have to unscrew the back cover to remove the battery. I wish there was another way.
