Asus tablet want turn on or off

Make sure the power cord is plugged into the computer and the wall and if it still wont turn on try wiggling the power cord connecter where it goes into the tablet .or hold the power button down and see if any lights flash on at all

Go into settings, turn off Wi-Fi, shut tablet down and wait a couple of minutes then turn back on. After boot up go back into settings turn Wi-Fi back on and see if you can connect to Wi-Fi. If not then the Wi-Fi part of the tablet is probably defective.

Hi if it's a asus Nexus 7 they do that now & then try connecting charger for 30 min or more then hold down power button with charger connected for ,60 sec or more & hope it reboots ..,good luck

Hold you're power button down for about 30 seconds or more if it won't turn on leave it on charge and try 30 min later hope it works it did for me.....

Charge the battery. Press the power button and hold it down for 10 to 20 seconds.

I found the manual for your tablet here:

It is in pdf format and can therefore be saved to computer for future reference. Searching through the manual there was no reference to "predictive" in the whole manual and searching "text" didn't give any indication that this facility is available on the machine as standard.

1. how old is your tablet 2. have you tried another charger such as a phone charger. My blackberry charger works fine for my tablet. Also with your tablet you should have had a usb cable that connected from mini usb to the asus plug in transformer.

If it's the issue we had, that is an asus video clip plays over and over when the tablet isn't used, I found the solution. It's in fact a screesaver! so go to ASUS apps, and click screensaver, and deselect the screensaver check box.
