I need to clear the password, doesn't let me go to the settings

Warning: Incorrect settings may produce undesirable results. Please research thoroughly before making any changes.

You can set the jumper as follows:

Clearing the BIOS settings
CAUTION: Do not change any jumper setting while the computer is on. Damage to the motherboard can result.
This motherboard has jumpers to clear the Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM in CMOS.

Clearing CMOS

To clear CMOS, follow these steps:

1. Temporarily set jumper Clear CMOS (CLRTC) to pins 1-2.
2. Wait 5-10 seconds and then return the jumper to pins 2-3.

When you startup the PC you will need to enter BIOS setup to reset any custom BIOS settings.

Clearing the BIOS password

The BIOS password is used to protect BIOS settings from unwanted changes. If you have forgotten your password you may disable password checking.
To erase the BIOS password follow these steps:

1. Turn OFF the computer and unplug the power cord.
2. Locate the jumper labeled Clear P.W. The jumper is found at the lower right edge of the motherboard.
3. Move the jumper on jumper Clear P.W. to pins 1-2.
4. Plug the power cord and turn ON the computer.

Hold down the F10 key during the startup process and enter BIOS setup to change or clear the password.

After changing or clearing the BIOS passwords, remember to reset the jumper to pins 2-3.

Try admin in user anme and admin in password.
If that doesn't work then try admin in only password, leave the user name blank.
If that doesn't work then try some different passwords that you use often.
If nothing is working then you will need to reset the router.
Once you reset the router, you will lose all the settings on the router and you will need to reconfigure it.

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. Take out the battery from your motherboard, or if that doesn't work locate the BIOS clear / password jumper and change its position. This jumper is often labeled CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, JCMOS1, CLR, CLRPWD, PASSWD, PASSWORD, PSWD or PWD. Once this jumper has been changed, turn on the computer and the password should be cleared. Once cleared, turn the computer off and return the jumper or dipswitch to its original position.

you can clear all passwords in service mode.
Procedure:
1) Selecting Service Mode
Press the Additionalfunctions
key, 2key, 8key, Additional functions
key sequentially

now choose #CLEAR and ALL press OK

Now the copier is on factory settings and without password.

Note: you need to enter user data and IP settings, because everything is cleared.

To clear the cmos password all power including that little watch battery needs to be disconnected for 5 sec (wait 60sec to be sure) . If that doesn't work you may be out of luck with out replacing the motherboard.

This jumper is usually standing alone near the battery. If you cannot locate this jumper, you might short both of the points where the battery connects to the motherboard. If all else fails, you may have to clear the BIOS password by resetting the RTC (Real Time Clock) IC (integrated circuit) on your motherboard. Many RTC's require an external battery. You can reset bios password with 2 method.
(1) open back cover of laptop then find motherboard .Pull cmos cell from motherboard for 15 minutes then again put it in it's position .then it not ask for password.
(2)You can clear password with jumper settings find jumper on motherboard named clear cmos it has 3 pin .1-2-3

Open the CPU casing locate the CMOS battery in motherboard and remove this battery, all CMOS information (including the BIOS password) will be lost. You will need to re-enter the correct CMOS setup information to use the machine. The machines owner or user will most likely be alarmed when it is discovered that the BIOS password has been deleted.
