a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Screen goes blank

Maybe the setting of your video display was change to higher setting, and your screen cannot handle the said setting.

When a "safe mode" message appears during opeing, select that options, then at the desktop right click your mouse, chose properties, then setting, then change the screen resolution to lower range.

SOURCE: PC Tools stops at DEEP SCAN When I'm trying to scan My computer system.

This is PC Tools Spyware Doctor program? Try booting the computer in Safe Mode (press F8 during the boot process before you see the Windows logo and select Safe Mode from this list of options) and then running the scan. With heavier infections many cleaning tools can be blocked or have inconsistent performance.

SOURCE: Nav4_disp conflict?

The nv4_disp fix I was able to successfully restore my computer to tip-top shape in 5 easy steps. Here’s my 10 minute solution.

  1. Boot your computer into Safe Mode w/ Networking. For Windows XP users, this is accomplished by pressing F8 repeatedly when your computer is booting up. You will be presented with several options. Choose “Safe Mode w/ Networking.” This will boot Windows XP into Safe Mode, but you will be able to browse the Web.
  2. Go to NVIDIA’s Web site and download the latest display drivers for Windows XP. I saved the 20MB file to my desktop for easy locating later on.
  3. Remove the NVIDIA display drivers currently installed on your machine. To do this, right click on “My Computer,” then select Properties. Click the “Hardware” tab, then click “Device Manager.” You now see a list of hardware devices installed on your computer. Double click “Display Adapters.” You should now see your NVIDIA card listed. Click it once to highlight it, then click the “Uninstall” icon in the upper right of Device Manager menu. Say “peace!” as the NVIDIA drivers are removed from your machine.
  4. Install the updated NVIDIA display drivers. Double-click the NVIDIA setup file you saved to the desktop earlier. The installation will run its course.
  5. Reboot your computer.
After following these steps, Windows XP should start up as usual (prior to our little nv4_disp bug). Your “nv4_disp” problem is officially solved.
What caused the nv4_disp problem? In short, I have no idea. I’m actually still trying to figure this out, so I welcome any comments about what could have been the cause. In doing some quick searches across the Web, however, I see that this is actually a common problem.

Use the add/Remove hardware tool first

If that fails, go into Programs --> Sansa --> Uninstall

That's a new one for me - go ahead and call Sansa

Where can I find a driver/adapter for Advent X19W LCD Monitor?

Goto device manager , uninstall the card. go into control panel and check that the driver is uninstalled from the programs list. Swich of the pc for a minute or two then reboot Windows updares does not download drivers for graphics cards so will not install or reinstall the driver that is causing the issue, 307? Users forget to uninstall from program manger in control panel which is why the card keeps reinstalling with the undesired driver.

My computer sceen stopped at loading pdr 2 discriptor?

Reboot your PC and try again but if you did that it still freezes reboot into Safe Mode by tapping on F8 (or escape key) while its rebooting. Once there select "Last known good configuration" and press ENTER.

If that doesn't work continue into Safe Mode and try System Restore and select date of when before this happen, or go to Control Panel > Add/Remove program and remove the offending program.

While there you can also run your anti-virus program.

My Logitech Medialife mouse will suddenly stop in its ability to move the cursor; and when it happens, the Touchpad also will become inoperable. Which leaves me with only one option: shut down my PC...

Can you notice if the mouse stops when using a certain program or while you've been on the pc for a length of time. When hardware stops it could be conflicts with other programs, a driver issue, battery. If your mouse worked without problems not long ago I'd first try a system restore back to the time when it worked. To do a restore click on programs, accessories, system tools and the system restore. Pick a day on the calendar before when the mouse was working and let the pc restore back to that time. It will restart then see if it works for you.
Thanks,
Henry

Cannot access any programs on Toshiba Satellite A135-S4517

Either a tune up, or it has a faulty hard drive. If you can manage to get to My Computer, right click your C: drive, select Properties, go to the Tools tab and click Check For Errors. Check all the options, and start it. It will tell you that the tests can only proceed when you reboot. Check it in order to do so and reboot.
Good luck.

Dell always provides System recovery with every PC,so you just copy all your personal files into external storage, then give system recovery, all the programs installed will get erased and then you install Microsoft office again. If they have provided you Vista DVD,then its better to format your PC,after copying files seperately.

What you need to change is your screen resolution to either 800 x 600 or to 1024 x 768 (in your desktop settings)
What is happening is that your Lexmark all-in-one center doesn't think your monitor can handle the program (or something to that effect).
You will NOT have to restart your computer either.
Just restart your Lexmark All-In-One program and you can start scanning.

No screen on my toshiba 9100

Hi Alex

I suggest going to Safe Mode and see what happens. You do this by tapping F8 right after the Toshiba splash screen. There should be an Advanced Windows Options menu. Choose Safe mode and wait, if everything appears ok then its probably a driver problem, a reinstallation of those should do the trick, if not, then we might be looking at something a little more critical. Let me know what happens.

Cheers;
