Question about HTC Desire Cell Phone
How do I download photographs from my phone onto my computer
Most times using the USB cable adapter, you can drag and drop your files from your HTC to your PC/Mac. The trouble is finding where the files are... Most of the pics and music are in the HTC data or dcim folders Inside these folders are sub-folders where you will find the pics devided into various types and albums into individual folders (usually).
You should be able to search within the HTC-drive using your PC/Mac file search...

Plug the phone into your computer via USB. A notification should pop up on your phone asking you which connection type you want: choose 'disk drive'. A window will open on your computer screen showing all the files/folders on your phone.
If you open the DCIM folder, you'll be able to find all your phone pics in there. Then just copy and paste them to where you want them on your computer's hard drive.
That window that opened on your computer screen will also let you run a search over your entire phone to see if you have pics/videos stored elsewhere on the phone (normally they are .3gp and .jpg files).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Connect your HTC Desire to your laptop. Select "Disk Drive" on the popup on your phone. Then use your laptop to search for the pictures.
P.S. On a HTC Wildfire, pictures taken are found at F:\dcim\100MEDIA (the drive letter may vary).

You can download and install "HTC Sync" from HTC website and this could solve your problems. And you can sync your phone contact, gallery and media information to your computer as well.
