Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have Sony Bravia KDL-46HX800 3D TV. My Ethernet connection stopped working. I can't get IP, my Sony blueray player doesn't have such problem (it is connected to the same net. switch). TV say

use a straight thru to connect directly to the router. Cross overs are typically used when connecting PC's directly together or daisy chaning routers or switches. Try a different port on the switch? Also from a pc, go to the DOS prompt and try and ping your TV. If your TV IP settings are all correct, and your network equipment is working, your should get a response from pinging your TV. If you don't, I would suspect a problem with your TV Enet port.

Receiver says INFO NOT AVAILABLE on the Program Guide

Hello, this may have been resolved already, but if you have this issue in the future, here are some steps to help you out!!!! There are a couple different approaches to this. The first, is to go to your guide and press 999 then the right arrow (BROWSE) button, press and release it until the guide prompts a download. If this does not help, or does not prompt the download, go ahead and try this step: Press the MENU button on your remote. Then press the number 6 (System set up), 1 (installation), 1 ( point dish). Then on the upper right of the screen, select CHECK SWITCH. Then, on the bottom of the screen, to the left, you will want to select TEST. Then once it is done testing, you can hit the view live TV button. (If a message comes up after you select TEST, just go ahead and select yes.) I hope this helps!!!!

I have a samsung TV that freezes temporarily.

i've just some digging around and found that you can access a service menu and perform a reset which sorted the issue for me.

Access the service menu by pressing, in order, whilst the tv is in stand-by mode:

info
menu
mute
power

when the tv comes back on you will have a service menu; select option 12 (reset) the tv will then switch off.

this will reset your TV back to factory defaults.

turn tv back on and you should be prompted to go through the plug and play setup again - go through everything and then all should start working OK

My Samsung LNT3253H LCD TV has suddenly started changing its own settings (e.g. picture mode keeps switching to ''dynamic'' and the ''light effect'' keeps setting itself to ''always on''). Any thoughts on...

Hi,

Its in "Shop Mode".

Change your source to TV (analogue), now press menu>find "Plug and Play" and select it and runs through the setup and selct "Home" prompted and not "Shop".

That should sort its out, when its in shop mode its doesn't matter how many times you make changes, when you power it off it will go back to the original shop settings, this feature was built in to allow shops the have all show TV's to run at optimal settings and if a customer played about with the settings it would matter as they are reset again when the TV is switched off and the store staff don't have to go around resetting all the TV's at the end of the day.

Thanks
