Chain too tight or not lined up correctly. Readjust the rear wheel.

SOURCE: schwinn 201 recumbent bike makes clicking noise

Check the tightness of the crank bearings, also the crank fastening nuts (on axle) If its the gears you may have to turn the screws on the rear derailleur to adjust the tracking. The same as the front. Your question is kind of vague so its hard to pinpoint the clicking noise. Could even be a stone in the tire??lol

I too have a clicking in the rear end, it has gotted worce. A scrssching noise now heard. Walking nent to it has not helped, appears to be internal.

It could be one of many things,The first Thing I would do is check whereabouts the noise is actually coming from,ie lifting the back of the bike up with a help of a friend and spinning the wheels one at a time and after both wheels being spun rotate the pedals and see if its coming from the gear cog at the rear,Whatever is the problem the part needs to be cleaned out and a new part put back on.It may be just a cracked ball race in one of the wheel spindles.

Just installed the schwinn hitch rack 3 on the hitch of our vehicle. How to we fasten bicycles on rack? men'a AND women's bikes.

For the ladies model you need an adapter bar to make it like a mans model. , mens, you just set arms on the bike's top bar and bungee it or if it has straps use them. Make sure that your pedals do not scratch your trunk by either buying foam pedal blocks or wrap and tape them. Put the womans bike on first.

Bad crank bearings can move crank arms small amount.

That would depend on the style of bearings (loose ball or caged balls vs sealed bearings) and possible bottom bracket damage.

Either way, a Bike Shop mechanic would probably need to assess it for you. Special tools are usually involved.
