SOURCE: Water heater with electonic igniter will not work in power outage

What type of heater is this? I need to know the model name and make and then we can go threw the process of how to do it. Most gas heaters do not have power to them and I only know of a few tankless heaters that do.

SOURCE: Junkers gas water heater automatic ignition not working

Yes that is going to be the contoll valve on that heater. You can probley fix it very easy with the right part. You will need to locate a plumbing supply over there in the UK. Give them the make and model number and tell them you need a unitroll gas valve for it.

first find out from your manual what the flashing red light means...that should narrow your search---could be a thermocouple shot,a rubber diphragm in the gas valve has weakened and not operated, or gas pressure into the appliance may suddenly be too low, or springs in gas valve may have worn out---very many possibilities

SOURCE: the electronic ignition on a gas water heater will

You won't see any red glow until the burner ignites and burns for a while. Its only an ignitor and flame sensor, not a glow plug style. The ignitor has to provide spark for gas to ignite, then it also senses the flame and keeps gas flow coming. What exactly is happening when you turn it to on?

Still can't find where you light the pilot light for the hot water heater on a self igniting factory installed heater on a 1997 Pace Arrow.

Generally, if a RV water heater is self igniting, then it is not designed to be lit manually. If you remove the outside vent cover door, then the unit can be observed. The self igniter should be visible at a point of where the pilot light is located. The problem with trying to light the water heater manually is that the circuit that activates the igniter also turns on the gas at the same time. If the igniter is not getting power, then most likely the valve to turn on the gas is not getting power either. If the problem is that the igniter itself has failed, then it may be possible, but unlikely, that with someone inside activating the turn on switch and a flame being applied to the pilot light area, at the same time, the pilot may light.

Is the junkers WR 11 Gas water heater ok for outside mounting

No all water heaters need to be mounted inside. Helps with the equipment efficiency, corrosion due to exposure to the elements, possibility of incoming water freezing. It\'s bad on electrical connections, the UV lite is hard on any plastic parts. These things are meant to be installed indoors.

Junkers wr11 has no spark and no power

Is it gas or electric? if it is gas and has a pilot, and the pilot is out. If you don't smell gas go through the start pilot proceedure. when the pilot is running it produces a small electric current sufficient to hold the main gas valve open; then the temperture sensor allows the unit to keep the water heated.

Junkers WR11 Water Heater Keeps Switching Off

Do NOT disconnect anything. Has the unit been maintained, cleaned and serviced? There may be a limit switch malfunctioning. Your safest bet is to have it checked out my someone who knows and is familiar with the unit you have, could be simple, but be safe and have it looked at.
